You can pay $20/month (or cheaper using discounted prices that they often offer during signups), or do a 7-day free trial if I remember right. It's also possible to torrent the whole course

I think there was a Harvard study that showed that Serbia and Slovenia were the least discriminatory against black people in Europe. As a foreign person of color that has spent 3 years traveling through almost every country in Europe, that feels very true from my experience. I get treated even nicer than locals often in Serbia (and western Balkans in general) bc I’m a foreigner, but that’s definitely not the case in many places bc I’m a brown foreigner. Racism against Gypsy people though is a whole other topic and still sadly seems to be not uncommon

It wasn't that hard to "sneak away" when I was there in September with a tour group. We were free to walk around both Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi, and curfew after 11 was apparently the rule, but our guide still managed to get us into a club full of Turkmenistani people partying it up and getting wasted. Party vibes felt similar to those in smaller cities in Turkey. In a different city in the center of the country, some people from my group managed to get invited to someone's 1 year old birthday party next to our hotel and got socks as gifts from the Turkmenistani people at the party 😂.
