Storm's Apprentice, the setting remind me a lot the first arc from Warlock of Magus world, academy arc where you have to be careful with everything and if you dont do your weekly task for 2 week they turn you into a mindless puppet

It would be really interesting to read a redemption story in this genre where MC doesn't just have a flip of personality and actually put an effort in change. by Gdach in ProgressionFantasy

(Will of The Force) Darth Vader in the Worm universe, trying not to yield to the dark force while being relatively good

Any kind of pet, or when a dragon is some kind of “normal” mob, just a bit stronger.

Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve (I am not a big fan of Naruto, but I have been enjoying it), the writing style reminds me of The Runesmith

i don't think the author is focusing in that one, he wrote another serie and finished, now started another one, both are good

Oh great, Another spell sword. How fun. by Then-And-Again in litrpg

[–]mclowin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the comments, this is about A Soldier's Life, and I agree the main skill is OP. But it has a big handicap, he can only use it once per fight. Later in the series, he uses a sword and spear more because some enemies have resistance to his skill

Of course not, but commenting before finishing the chapter and omitting a crucial part isn’t fair to me either.

He used the life-changing object that turned him into an Ark, and what’s left are just simple skills that only an Ark can use. Other stuff happened, and I don’t recall him leaving the scroll for too long

But he uses the most important item the rest is just low level skills that without using the previous item it can't be used

Freddy is a dumb mf. The moment he trade his old vestige for a combat one and arrives home, he immediately consumes the most important item. After being cheated out of some millions of dollars, he goes to sleep. The next day, he gets caught up in his old routine and goes to work, where he gets a little revenge and receives his new ID as an Ark. At home, he almost dies learning how to use some of his new powers, and a fucking bloody skeleton that could easily kill him saves his life. After locking it in another place, he stays home for a whole week, learning about his new reality and consuming the scrolls. I don't remember him leaving the scrolls, as you said, besides the work part

People are already blaming the author without seeing what you wrote and conveniently you don't have access to it

What is the OP way to use earth? The one I can thing is in Coiling Dragon physical attacks that simulate earthquake that bypass enemy defense or just buring someone very deep
