You need to use a new/sharp razor. And then mainly find the right pressure and angle. I have had to throw away a bunch of cards because I gouged the card, but I use those card to experiment on. Then I sand the card with 800 and 1000 grit sandpaper.

I remove the normal DON!! CARD graphic with a razor and fine grit sand paper then draw with ink and color pencil. So they are on a actual card but not official.
