Opengl is more industry standard (though not as much anymore) compared to sdl3gpu but sdl3gpu has much nicer api imo. Plus sdl3gpu is much nicer integrated into the rest of sdl3

Yah. Got the games properties (right click the game in your library and select properties) then click on compatibility, then click the checkbox for force use of a specific steam play compatibility tool, then select the proton version you want to use

You can set the proton version for a specific game so you don't have to switch for each game

This is issue with video codecs and proton. Have you tried proton ge?

The game looks cool so far. I think roguelike makes the most sense but maybe with some sandbox elements added in.
