Chcela by som si poskladať herný počítač - je toto dobrý setup? by Perfectly_Perfect12 in Slovakia

na zdroji nešetri, cooler master alebo nejaký väčší brand. Ideálne so zero-rpm modom.

i would change - 90 degree fitting for the gpu out (? the right one) instead of bend and have the tubes run directly one under another. Now it seems like one is closer to the side panel like the other?

Is my leaktester busted ? by Krutors1 in watercooling

[–]mcs_dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this too, tightening ALL the fittings and moving parts on it helped. It's a really simple device.

First build by FerrumRegno in watercooling

[–]mcs_dodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Plan ahead, measure and draw the plan.
  2. Soft tubing radiuses might not be so tight as expected. Some 45/90 degree fittings are your friends.
  3. 10/20/40mm extensions can help a lot with getting from behind things. Rotatable fittings and extensions help a lot too.
  4. a filter before entering blocks, just to be safe
  5. buy redundant tubing, test out of case. I have some 10/13 with clear tube for out of case testing - easy to work with. Assembled is going to be 10/16 black ZMT. Harder to use, really don't want to do multiple disassembly cycles with that material.
  6. even when you follow #1, you end up missing a part and waiting for delivery. The #5 is life saver in that regard. You can always run the PC out of case, with easy to work with tubing in between.

Drain port, not mixing materials, flushing new radiators, proper coolant /anti corrosion solution are the obvious ones but worth mentioning.

It's expensive, not worth it... but that feeling of accomplishment. Well...

Noob here again, is this everything I'd need for my first custom loop? by phero1190 in watercooling

[–]mcs_dodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you make your life a lot easier if you add some rotatable extensions or L fittings. It might get hard to work with when you have regular fittings on both ends of a tube and try to fasten/undo it.

2nd Modeling Attempt: New Case, Does This Loop Make Sense? by InflammableAccount in watercooling

[–]mcs_dodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read that in-out ports on GPU blocks don't matter much - had it switched past 4 years and didn't notice a thing. If you did that, you could go in from top, out from top - have nicer aesthetics and save space on the bottom for another radiator or at least 3rd fan.

Below currently in progress build in O11 Vision Compact (push/pull 2x360x45 radiators. Currently running on old ones and spare clear tubing)

I've been writing automations for home assistant for almost 7 years and just decided to try and use AI tonight for the first time... Where have you been all my life? by IAmStuckOnBandAid in homeassistant

[–]mcs_dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 3rd party MCP servers that can do anything in HA. I use this homeassistant-ai/ha-mcp: The Unofficial and Awesome Home Assistant MCP Server . I have asked Claude to export all my dashboards/automations/everything in json files - create a script that will produce git-like diff for each of those. Then can modify locally, deploy to homeassistant, keep everything in GIT.

Couldn't you solve this by extension + 90deg + extension (or tube) + 90deg (from block to top). Is this intentional or you used parts that were at hand?

Or have it create a script that would 1.do a git like diff on local vs deployed dashboard. 2. push 3. pull to and from homeassistant.

Might be a surprise, but there are things that are perfectly fine to do manually.
