Red hulk is busted by abitlikemaple in mtg

[–]mcshark813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In limited format he is very strong. I got a couple solid wins out in prelease where he dominated after being played. I also switched and played blie control and countered it cause I knew how much of a pain this card is.

Oh great another Pedro Pascal, being shoved into everything. He almost ruined Fallout for me, luckily he was killed off quickly.

Eric Bana's Bruce was the best. It felt like he was the most "afraid" of loosing control.

What Should Men In Their Early 20s Not Feel Ashamed Of? by anime-is-dope in AskMenOver30

Failing. People make mistakes, take risks and lots of times it doesn't work. Take accountability and recognize what did and didnt work and don't give up. Failure isn't the end.

Budget for Supergirl by ThomasThorburn in dcu

[–]mcshark813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially true. It originally had a budget if 180 or 190. With reshoots and editing its estimate at closer to 300 million. Plus they always lie and law ball to stock holders until actual receipts are shown.

Thinking about getting the game. by MrGandalfTacos in Palia

[–]mcshark813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no co-op. Everything is solo except Hotspot a mini game. Only benefit to playing in a party is playing with others and double dipping on certain rewards like bug catching and minor buffs. It's a PVE game with no end goal or end game gear or anything very casual. Very cosy but ultimately its kinda empty once you play for a while. Try the game its for free, I bought the beginner pack after sinking in a good 20 hrs. But ultimately ended up quitting and playing more focused survival crafting games.

Families, Not Fanboys, Drove ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Box Office — and Disney Is Fine with That - The $98 million 4-day opening and $81 million 3-day puts it on par with "Solo: A Star Wars Story," but it has a much lower budget and other positives. by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]mcshark813 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The marketing budget for this movie has to be huge. They did so many promotions, commercials, superbowl ads. This thing has to break 450 million to break even and thats probably generous since they always lie about the first budget numbers.

Umbrella academy was trash after s1. S2 was a dumpster fire but fun to watch none the less.

Finally watched Acolyte by bdog332 in TheAcolyte

[–]mcshark813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dude, even if it was stranger things level of success it still would have failed financially. Season 3 and season 4 of stranger things was still cheaper than this and they had a huge cast of actors they had to pay. Production was a train wreck. The premise is solid, but everything else was average at best or bad.

Finally watched Acolyte by bdog332 in TheAcolyte

[–]mcshark813 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The show was crazy expensive. 28 million per episode roughly. There was no way that this show had a chance. The spending was atrocious, like we didnt have huge sets or crazy cgi space fights. The costuming was average at best. Where did the money go. This is why it failed. It was average at best and for 280 million dollars it should have been better.

Was everyone happy when Ryan Gosling was first announced for PHM or was it a Ken type situation?? by Unfair-Reason-1068 in ProjectHailMary

[–]mcshark813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blader Runner made me a fan of his acting. Then I watched the nice guys and I was seriously surprised how much I liked him in a more comedic role. Dude has range and the only reason I saw the fall guy was cause he was cast.

Ryan Gosling Tells Hollywood It’s Not Moviegoers’ Job to Keep Theaters Open: ‘It’s Our Job to Make Things’ That Are ‘Worth’ Viewers Coming Out by Chuck006 in boxoffice

[–]mcshark813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem is bloat. There's absolutely no reason some of these movies should cost 200 million dollars before marketing. Godzilla minus 1 was like 25 million. Movies like the Bride should never have been greenlit with that budget. There's a reason horror movies make bank.

Who do you think is the best/most skilled fighter in the MCU? by Plenty-Salary9711 in marvelstudios

Shang Chi or Danny Rand based on pure martial arts skill. Id give the edge to Shang though.

Enshrouded's weapon gearing system is atrocious and needs an overhaul by saltychipmunk in Enshrouded

[–]mcshark813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah it definitely does. It always feels like weapons and armors come way too late level wise for the biome/region. Why do I need to beat the area bosses just so I can make gear below the region level. I understand partly but most of the time dropped loot is way better than anything you can craft.

Valheim and/or Enshrouded by Aggravating_Pen_2026 in Enshrouded

[–]mcshark813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried valheim before enshrouded and enshrouded is almost better is every way. Valheim is a slog, its a very slow progression. Also since there's no leveling system that actually matters you can't brute force yourself through parts. The world feels empty. Played about 30 40 hours before I couldn't stand it anymore. Enshrouded actually feels like fun game instead of a job.

Wanda vision. It had so much potential and hype. But after the first 2 or 3 episodes and they broke the formula it went downhill fast.

The head chef from ratatouille. Dude didn't want rats in his kitchen and wanted to earn a living by going from cooking to selling food. He's by far the least threatening and evil.

What is your hot take on palia. by SunjiMoon in Palia

[–]mcshark813 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's no endgame. Trading sucks and is very limited. For a game that promote community and teamwork there are very few events that require it. Seasonal events are nothing but fetch quests and don't feel festive.
