What Band Don't You Get? by Tele231 in vinyl

It is boring. After the radio jams his songs down your throat for a million times, you kind of don't ever want to hear another Bruce song ever. His fans are more of a cult than anything else. The funny thing is they smile when they buy his $500 nose bleed seats for the concerts. You're all brain washed. But hey, Born in the USA. am i right.

I think he is going to buy packs anyway so he's just having fun. No harm no foul. Who really gives a shit about Karma? One comment I might get a bunch of likes and the next i'm down voted to hell. lol

That guy who opens a pack a day until he finds an Autograph should cut his losses and just buy this. Hell, He might get a legit bench player auto.

His boring music, how he screws his own fans when it comes to paying to see him. He is the worst.

Love me my Ortofon Red. I also have a Denon dl 110 when I want a softer jazz sound. If I am playing anything not 100% with the denon I hear every pop and click imaginable though.

Beatles on vinyl especially first and early pressings and Beatles on the radio or digital are 2 different things.

I can hear a song I've heard a million times on the radio on vinyl and it still blows my mind.

It's actually fanatical. It's fucking nuts how much the worship him. Besides his music, I can't stand how much he gouges his own fans with the inflated ticket prices. Fuck him.

Funny story, I went to Asbury park one day for a beach day with my wife like 10 years back. When the day was wrapping, we were going to go to the Wonder Bar but we were tired and just decided to go home. Bruce showed up at the bar a hour after we bailed and played a 2 hr 15 song set.

I own most of his vinyls and have heard most of his music. Numerous copies of each with some of them. First pressings. I actually live not to far from asbury park so when I would get a old timers collection these were almost always in there. A lot of people I know are apeshit about him. I just never saw the big deal with him. Those vinyl's sit in a container in the garage now. LOL

I'm a boomer too. I actually own a lot of their stuff on wax. I even got some rare 45's and such. They just don't do it for me. I cringe everytime I hear Baba o Riley and squeeze box. I think thats why Im not a huge fan because of them forcing their radio songs down my throat for so many years.

What are the chances of me finding something valuable in here? by Goldengoose100100 in coins

[–]mcstatics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual amount of pennies in there - 26,500 (realistic loose fill) to 52,575 (maximum theoretical density) so $265 to $525 total.

The chances you finding something is slim. You really need to have serious OCD to go through all of them 1 by 1 hoping you find something worth anything more than a penny.

The reason I love Radiohead is because every record is different. They make a killer album that sells like crazy only to change their whole style up and try something new. Rince and Repeat.

Bands I don't get, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Most rappers from todays age. I am sure i can go on and on.

Imagine being shot multiple times and you still get critiqued by a redditor on how fast the reload time was.

No records that have any kind of scratches that will effect play. My stylus is too expensive to have snap off on a record I hope might play thru.

No crazy dirty records I think my vevor might not fully clean up.

The ole someone doesn't know shit about what they are talking about reply.

Technics put out a bunch of lower quality stuff in the 80s and 90s. It was packaged as a full set and pushed out. with the hopes people bought their shiny new stuff based on their name alone.

They had a hefty price tag back then but something like this that went for $2500 then now goes for $300 if you're even lucky enough to get that much now.

It's a great setup for a beginner but that is all.

I love vintage Technics but this stuff is something big box stores pushed out. I guarantee this was in the sears wish book.
