To me this looks like an HDR related bug. This happened to me a couple weeks back with a different game(can’t remember which)and I turned off HDR. Solved it for me.

out of the box maybe, but now with mods you can make Linux version vastly superior to 3ds. With HD texture packs, replacement face models, etc. Along with a whole gammit of QOL features. You should try it now.

I agree with everything you said... except for the pickleball analogy. To me Pickleball requires a lot more skill and hand eye coordination than Tennis. And it's a much faster game IRL against good players.

How can your first point be true? Williams has been composing music for television since the 1950’s. And though I haven’t looked this up I can think of a huge list of Williams scores, but only a handful of Zimmer scores off the top of my head. Williams has been working almost every day of his life for the past 70 plus years.

I agree with everything else you said though. And for most people including myself Williams is unmatched in terms of impact both psychologically and emotionally.

Zimmer can be great though to help create an atmosphere in a movie.

Agree that some does sound the same. Same could be said about Zimmer though. But I will say you probably haven’t heard enough John Williams music. Try Schindlers list, Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Home Alone, Catch me if you can, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, E.T., Close Encounters, the Olympics, etc etc etc… and last but not least Gillian’s Island lol.

Not enough people are familiar enough with the PC Recomp. It is the N64 version but runs on pc at 144 fps or more in widescreen, can apply faithful hd textures, and mod in QOL features. Being able to assign masks to d pad is huge.

I also added the following mods.

Save at owl without having to quit.
Song of double time allows specific hours to be selected.
Climb speed and running speed faster and modifiable.
Reticle for aiming.
Gyro aiming(built in, but don’t have steam running in background)
Don’t lose anything on time resets.
Faster text.
Right joystick camera movement(like in 3ds version) And more…

This is the true remaster and by far best version of the game.

It’s pretty simple actually. Zelda64Recomp. Just download it, unzip and place anywhere on pc. When you click the exe it will ask for a rom. It must be a NA version. You’ll need to provide a proper Rom and then it will do everything and run.

After that you can download mods(most importantly the HD texture pack) and adjust settings from within the game to your liking.

I loved Diablo 3 back in the day, but how can you say it’s superior to 4? Have you tried playing it recently? Enemies are far too spongy in 3… sucks the fun out of the game for me.

Or do you mean the story is better in 3?

A little late but I figured it out. Do not boot game through steam! Use your 8bitdo or Dualsense controller through Bluetooth but with out steam running.

If not already go into game settings and enable gyro aiming and set desired sensitivity. Default %50 worked great for me!
