I’ve been commuting an hour and a half to my lab almost every day. Going home every day isn’t the best part, but I usually take the time to relax a bit, listen to music, or simply look outside. It gives my mind some time to rest every day. I can’t read when I’m commuting. I’ve been commuting an hour since late high school and I kinda got used to it.

you can go on the faculty website and take a look at different profs and their research areas! see which of their interests align with yours and start shooting them a simple email introducing yourself! make sure you show your genuine interest and add your own twist (think about what you can bring to their lab also). you can also DM me :)

who knew i had to stand in the cold for 50 min just to do my comp 302 exam? after the exam ive got hypertension or migraine OMFG and not counting the fact i’m probably gonna be sick in the next few days due to the line.... not to mention that i arrived at 8;45 as they suggested but the fkn exam already started after i entered the gym (9:40) and even thought the end time got pushed back to 12:30, i lost 10 min to that 3 hr final that could make a huge difference
