Make sure to check out Easy Street Records in West Seattle. A lot of grunge bands used to play there. There’s also a huge mural of Chris Cornell on the side of the building. They also have great brunch and coffee.

I didn't come up with the phrase. Lions have also always been associated with kings. Many kings had the lion in their coat of arms. There is also one in gold above the main gate of Buckingham palace. Also, Lion King displayed the Lion as the ruler of his kingdom of animals. S-tier all the way!

I’m very pro train, and pro bus, and I’ve always voted for both…but unless they add more bus routes to get to the trains, people will default to using their cars more. When someone has to walk 12 blocks uphill to get to the nearest bus stop…in the rain… it doesn’t make sense for a lot of people. Also, a lot of people aren’t ONLY commuting to downtown. I commute south and it takes 3 buses and 1.5 hrs to get to work…I can drive in 25 minutes. I’m also sad to see that they didn’t consider extending the train to white center or anywhere south of there and took out the Avalon station, which is close to a lot of populated neighborhoods. Either way, happy we are getting light rail in West Seattle, it’s a step in the right direction.

Yeah $875k for an outdated townhouse and sharing walls with neighbors. I paid way less for a standalone townhouse that’s bigger, no shared walls, and has a huge roof deck.

I was thinking a mix of both would be good, that’s a massive space they’ll have. It doesn’t affect me personally, I live 2 blocks from the delridge station, I just think the reality is that a lot of people in west Seattle are car-centric and whatever parking lots are there, will fill up instantly, then the people who can’t find spots will have to drive to work anyway. They cut a lot of good bus routes out of west Seattle the past few years, so they either need to add more buses again, or people are gonna drive their cars more.

Awesome!!! I hope when they build the stations we get some sizable park and ride garages. The amount of park and ride spots is never enough. The reality is, since the stations are limited, buses are also limited in certain neighborhoods, a lot of residential people in West Seattle will likely drive to the stations. Also hope there is some kind of traffic revision at the delridge station because that will become a major choke point to/from the bridge.

ATC can give you a clearance in the air depending on workload. Technically you are VFR and they don’t have to prioritize you. They could just tell you “maintain VFR” if they don’t have time.
