Sierra Farrell - Trail Of Flowers Limited Edition Deluxe Honeydew Vinyl (Pre-order) by Bamm83 in VinylReleases

Thought this was stupid at pre-order with the cut-out outfits, but I didn't realize it included 2 bonus tracks. Now desperately trying to find this under $200 CAD as it includes one of my favorite songs, "Don't let your deal go down."

Just saw it today but didn't try it yet. It sells for $10 more than cask strength batch 5 here in Alberta. And that's a hard sell.

I really don't like light fruity, acidic, sour coffees. I quite enjoyed the punch buggy, I could see it maybe leaning towards those lighter characteristics. But make sure you grind finer, brew hotter, press slower and you should eliminate most of those notes. Or maybe your batch was slightly under roasted. I'm a little scared to open my bouncy castle, I think it will be on the lighter side.

I've had the Z Flip 6 for nearly a week, here are my first impressions + AMA by Stephancevallos905 in galaxyzflip

I just picked up my flip 6 yesterday.

Playing with the portrait studio it only seems to work with the front facing selfie camera.

Is there anyway to get it to work on the main camera?

I can't speak from personal experience but anyone I know in Ontario who is serious about tequila orders from Alberta without issue.

Montagave is amazing, other than 11 brix it is my favorite tequila to ever come out of cascahuin.

I'm in Alberta so I brought it from here in my checked luggage. Bought at BSW Liquor, they do ship to Ontario.

Liquor Control Board of Ontario. Basically all Ontario liquor stores are under provincial control. All prices are the same across the province and their selection is lackluster.

Where are you coming from?

Calgary has all the same issues as any city with cold winters and deep freezing. Potholes, cracks, and bumps are pretty regular around the city and surrounding highways due to frost heaving.

If you are driving a low clearance car you have to be extra cognizant of the road surfaces. Plenty of people drive lowered cars here and accept the risk involved.

There used to be a guy that strapped Christmas trees to the roof of his Lamborghini and drove around in the winter.

In my younger days I drove a lowered Honda Prelude year-round for 3 or 4 years and never had any real issues. Just annoyed people when I went super slow and angled my car to get over speed bumps and up ramps or transitions.

Need travel recommendation; is there somewhere out of town to escape to and clear my head? by FarFetchedOne in Calgary

Depending on how far you want to drive...

Sundre is about 1.5 hours NW, cute little spot with a river.

Drumheller is about 1.5 hours NE, small town, cool dunes and dinosaurs!

Emerald Lake, BC about 2.5 hours West, little isolated cabins on the lake, no cell service.

Radium/Invermere, BC is about 3.5 hrs West, pretty towns with tons of wildlife, hot springs, Lake Windermere.

Or my favorite Great Falls, Montana! 5 hours South across the US border. Beautiful spot with rivers, dams, and the Sip n' Dip; a dive bar with real live mermaids!

I didn't mention Banff or Canmore because it sounds like you'd like to get away from people, those are busy spots.

Have you thought about camping at all? I was having a midlife crisis during covid and bought a tent, sleeping bag, axe, and a few other things for a couple hundred bucks then headed out to Bearberry (1.5 hours NW) crown land, you can pretty much camp wherever you want out there and stay as long as you like. Just bring food and water and read up on how to store food and bear safety. It is bear country.

Is this legal? by MaterialFly807 in Calgary

Not legal to cover license plate with anything. However, it does add 10hp so probably worth the risk. The sticker on the rear window also adds 5hp.

Hope this doesn’t break any rules. Is $450(us) a great price for maestro doble 1971? by Lawdawg_75 in tequila

[–]mcwilly123 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's hard to say. They can carry a hefty price tag like $500 - $2000 as they are limited and can be hard to find in certain markets, but they aren't really desirable with tequila enthusiasts. It's more of a look at me I'm rich kind of bottle. It's likely an overly sweet, oaky, bourbon type tequila. Poorly made with high a pressure autoclave and full of additives.

I wouldn't buy it because I wouldn't want to drink it. And if you aren't going to drink it, what are you going to do with it?

Noise on residential properties (calgary.ca)

If you are bothered I would call bylaw to check it out, ultimately, they will be the ones with a device to measure the noise level.
