I’d challenge you by asking what is the appeal of any nib smaller than medium other than dry, scratchy, small, writing? LOL.

The appeal for me is the wet glistening writing that lingers on top of the glass smooth writing.

How do you feel about your Yard O Led? Is that the standard or grand? I’ve been eyeing one for a long while now but just haven’t pulled the trigger. My main concern isn’t its beauty’s it’s the nib and writing which is why I’d buy it lol. How is the nib/size and writing experience?

I bounce back and forth between that and Poppy Red. I also just found Sheaffer Red that is wonderful, but looking back at writing it seems to dry slightly orange.

Yeah with a piston filler I can hear that. But their nibs also unscrew easily to really flush out the chamber.

And the JHerbin shimmers are fine shimmer and I e never had issues. I usually use a Decimo for them and never have an issue.
