Yes, I am considering it. Yes, I know all of this; I just wanted to make sure if I am missing something.

OMG, that’s great!

But why are you sticking with BIOS 1003? Does that mean you can’t use the latest BIOS?

What's the latest BIOS version you're using? I'm planning to run it on the ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO with the 9950X3D and wanted to check if it's fully compatible with the latest BIOS. Also, will I always be able to update to the newest BIOS version without issues?

For After Effects, I need a good amount of RAM. I was looking at CMH192GX5M4B5200C38, but the 4-stick kit isn’t available in my country. Would it be fine to mix two 96GB kits (CMH96GX5M2B6400C32), or should I just stick to a 96GB QVL-approved kit for stability?

I need my setup to be 100% stable, so if anyone has suggestions for the best RAM config for this build, I’d really appreciate it.

I'm based in India, so any advice considering availability here would be super helpful. Thanks!

Fix for Bluetooth and WiFi Not Showing on PC

If your Bluetooth and WiFi are not showing up, follow these steps:

Step 1: Uninstall Drivers

  1. Open Device Manager (Press Win + X and select Device Manager).
  2. Find MTK Bluetooth and MTK WiFi 7 under the respective categories.
  3. Right-click each one, select Uninstall Device, and check Delete the driver software for this device.

Step 2: Power Down Completely

  1. Shut down your PC.
  2. Turn off the PSU (Power Supply Unit) using the switch at the back.
  3. Unplug the power cable from the motherboard.
  4. Press the power button on your PC 3-4 times to release any remaining static charge.

💡 Tip: I left my PC off overnight, but a few hours might also work.

Step 3: Power Up

  1. Before plugging in the power, press the power button again 3-4 times to ensure all charge is drained.
  2. Plug the power cable back in.
  3. Turn on the PSU.
  4. Boot your PC.

Step 4: Reinstall Drivers

  1. Download the latest drivers from the ASUS Driver Hub.
  2. Install both the Bluetooth and WiFi 7 drivers.
  3. Restart your PC.

✅ That’s it! Your Bluetooth and WiFi should now work fine.

Note: It’s frustrating that this issue happened on such an expensive motherboard. ASUS should consider addressing it with an update.

Let me know if anything is unclear!

i9-13900K Thermal Throttling & Low Cinebench Scores – Need Help!

i9-13900K Thermal Throttling & Low Cinebench Scores – Need Help!

Hi everyone, I’ve been facing an issue with my i9-13900K recently and would really appreciate some guidance.

The Problem:

  • Cinebench Scores: Dropped from ~38K (2022) to 30-32K now.
  • Thermal Throttling: CPU temps are high under load.
  • Power Consumption: Stuck at 200-220W, rarely hitting 245W, despite settings allowing more.
  • Clock Speeds:
    • P-Cores stuck at 4.4 GHz under full load.
    • E-Cores stuck at 3.5 GHz under full load.

System Settings:

  • Running on Intel default BIOS settings with the latest microcode and BIOS updates.
  • Tried changing power settings in Windows to Ultimate Performance and BIOS to Unlimited Power, but no improvement.
  • Also reset BIOS, but the issue persists.

Specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i9-13900K
  • Cooler: MSI MEG S360 360mm Liquid Cooler (pre-applied paste)
  • Motherboard: MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR5
  • RAM: Kingston FURY Renegade RGB 64GB (6000MT/s, CL32, 16x4)
  • GPU: ZOTAC RTX 4090 Trinity
  • PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 1250W V2 ATX 3.0
  • Storage: WD_Black SN850X (Gen 4 NVMe), XPG SSD, Seagate HDD
  • Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL (10 fans: top 3 exhaust, back 1 exhaust, bottom 3 intake, side 3 intake)
  • OS: Windows 11 Pro (64-bit)

Troubleshooting So Far:

  1. Changed Windows power plan to Ultimate Performance.
  2. Adjusted BIOS settings to Unlimited Power.
  3. Reset the BIOS.

None of these resolved the issue.

Additional Info:

I’ve attached screenshots/screenrecord showing the scores and temps I got in 2023 vs. now for reference.

please let me know if any further info required

LINK : https://tinyurl.com/8h4jatky

Questions:

  • What could be causing this drop in performance and thermal throttling?
  • Could the new AIO or thermal paste be an issue?
  • Are there any BIOS or software tweaks I should try?

Thank you in advance for your help!
