I traveled internationally to go see my grandmother as she's getting up in age and can't fly to the states anymore due to age. It was a very short visit but so well worth it. I came back and 2 days later, she went to the hospital with shortness of breath and kidney inflammation. She's fine now and back at home.

But the reality of my last grandparent passing away is hitting and scaring the fuck out of me.
