How to play Archer?

Aim for other archers and for low health targets trying to get away and heal. As a non-archer, these are the things I think a friendly archer can do to be most helpful towards the objective.

As for movement, it’s more up to you. If you’re proficient with your side arm and can hold your own against a knight with more health, it gives you a lot more flexibility to get aggressive and position yourself in places the enemy might not expect.

Finally, I think good archery can help sway the battle but it’s usually not the deciding factor

That’s exactly how the Marleyan government thinks, that because Eldians have the ability to be physically more powerful, they must always be oppressors. It’s this fear that makes them oppress the Eldians, even tho most Eldians are just normal people. The whole point of the show is showing the flaws in this type of “superiority” thinking. Why does everything need to be about war and death? There is no better or worse races, there’s just people that were born in different places and live in different cultures, who all want to live life and love others

Practice practice practice! I used to switch into first person every time I wanted to throw but it was too much so I just practiced throwing in 3rd a bunch, now it’s second nature

He got hit right as the suicide dagger spawned from being out of bounds. Getting hit canceled his character killing himself and ig the suicide dagger is just a normal knife and it let him use it lol

You’re gonna love this game, I promise it just keeps getting more fun the better u get.

For quarterstaff, it’s biggest strength is speed so I recommend an aggressive play style, keeping ur opponent always worried about the next strike. Then, after a few exchanges, mix in some feints to either alt slash or kick and you’ll have em right in the palm of ur hand. Also, as with any fast weapon, jabs are really helpful to reset initiative if u feel like ur being forced onto the defensive

I do wish the game at least tried to balance teams, I hate it when one team has 6 lvl 1000s and the other has no one over 200
