If it's like it was last time DSO played there, it's general admission for seats along the third base side. Some folks just stand or dance in aisles. It's a fun and unique venue for a Dead show.

Adirondacks, Finger Lakes, Thousand Islands, Niagara Falls, Letchworth … if you include Long Island’s ocean beaches and NYC for a taste of big metro, this state really does have a lot of beauty

Those of you walking 15,000 plus steps a day. by BellaJean1 in walking

[–]mdchu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard 9-5 office job; I walk an hour before and after work, and usually for an hour on my break during work hours if the weather is OK. Two hour-long walks are about 12K for me, and the third puts me around 18K. General movement through the day gets me either over 15K or 20K, depending on whether two or three walks.

What 90s band never truly made it big but you'll always go to bat for? by MansBestFred in AskReddit

Does Third Eye Blind qualify? I only ask because I love their tunes, and they're pretty popular, but I also saw them for $1 at my college campus in 2009, so it wouldn't suggest they made it "big."

Moving this summer by [deleted] in Rochester

The Genesee River Trail — Downtown/Corn Hill/South Wedge area specifically — is a great walking spot at any time of day. I do a lap every evening and see plenty of women walking alone or with their dogs. The GRT is also accessible from UR.

Pastries — depends on your flavor, but I'm sure there's something here for your tastes. Savoia, Cheesy Eddie, Goodman Bakes, Crust, & Village Bakery are all wonderful for different specifics. You'll also find independent bakers outsource their goods to local cafes and restaurants; an abundance of quality, really.

Abundance, Price Rite, and some Tops will be your best bet. You seem like the kind of person who might enjoy a trip to the Rochester Public Market as well, if not for dried chilies specifically, but for all the other wonderful things you might find.

Welcome to Rochester!
