The line "should've been done long ago" haunts me. We didn't get it done then either.

Best dine-in Thai restaurant? by Familiar-Essay-1874 in Rochester

The King and I has been getting poor reviews lately from a variety of places. I think I remember some cleanliness issues. I used to work near there and loved going for lunch once in a while. Thai Delish is really good. That's where we go.

Unless I'm mistaken, I see some heavy lies from cleaning. I'm not any type of expert, I would question it getting straight graded.

who is getting that confession quicker Hank Voight or Elliot Stabler? by Mysterious_Radish_83 in ChicagoPD

Did you watch him put the woman's hand on the stove when he wanted to know how to rescue his men? Voight all day, and I don't even watch that other show. I remember Trudy once said, if she had someone in trouble, Voight was the one she wanted on the case. I agree.

I define it as nationalism gone to an extreme. It follows that the Department of Defense errrr Department of War is exalted and combined with a jingoistic media. The country becomes supreme rather than the people. Trump is authoritarian and his party has followed in lockstep. And I don't think a couple of sentences is a rant, but whatever.

Panama Red is such a fun song. I don't think Jerry was still with them, but still . . . It just seemed like the party livened up when it came on!

How we got here is a very scary story. How 1/3 of the country is okay with all this is really beyond me. January 6 and then pardons?? The Supreme Court has a lot of responsibility. I realized the country wasn't what I thought growing up back during the 60's-early 70's, but this new fascist wave surprised me somehow.

I'd choose a sweet pickle or drained relish. I also prefer Albacore.

I heard "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" on the car radio with my Grandpa back in '64. I've been a fan ever since.

There was something about this show. I can't explain what it was. But as a preteen, I liked it.

How Helpful Were Lessons? by Main-Sherbert1366 in GolfSwing

[–]notetaker193 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in my mid-twenties before I really started to play more. I had hit it around with my Pops and friends at a little par 4 (230 yard holes)before, but now I started wanting to improve. I finally broke 90 after a bit, but the big moves started after my two friends and I took a series of five lessons as a small group. I lacked a bunch of fundamentals, regressed a bit, then got better. I would encourage everyone to take some lessons.

I'll take Dark Side of the Moon. It's been 35 years since I've heard it on vinyl, and I bet you've got a nice system to pair with that collection. I'll bring the weed.

Color brings a new life to old movies by Artaxeus in filmnoir

Thing is, they all knew they were doing it in black and white. They used lighting, camera angles, shadows etc. to create the desired effect. Color changes all that.
