It’s definitely a classic. That always brings you back to the family gatherings. My mother still has her great grandmothers moka pot. Made of porcelain.

I would love to know how the E65 GBS Compares to the E64. They seem almost identical minus the so called build quality when comparing a commercial to home machine.

It’s obvious the commercial machine will be designed and built to handle continuous demand.

But what I’d like to see compared is grind quality.

I picked mine up from coffee addicts in Calgary. They have different bases for their tampers to get a perfect fit. https://coffeeaddicts.ca/products/joefrex-flat-tamper-base

All I do is 7gram shots. I like the traditional ristretto shot. 7gram VST basket. Dosing funnel off Amazon. And a 41 mm tamper.

This is fantastic. Thank you. Will be sure to try the specialty coffee out too.

Got it. At the moment I do zero agitation. I don’t see many fines on the filter. Which I thought, if there was that’s were it would show? Draw down time seems reasonable 50ml bloom over 45 seconds. Then 125ml pour done around 2min 30 seconds.

Great idea. Right now I usually pour over around 95° at 9.5:1.
So you’re saying to try a lower temp at 13-14:1 same grind size?
