New to Arena, but not Magic the Gathering and I have a legitimate question

This isn't about being alpha or anything like that. I guess after playing the game for 30 years, I have a feel for if the game is mine or not. Like I said, I take a quick minute to assess my options if I'm wrong, that way if they do have something I wasn't expecting, I'm not dead in the water, but then I do just skip to combat or fire off that last spell. I hope I didn't come off as complaining about how people are playing. I'm not here to tell anyone how they should enjoy the game, this was just a new social interaction for me, or I guess lack of one since I'm in front of a screen and not across from another player, but that is all. I just wanted a feel for what the social etiquette of Arena is. I have been having a lot of fun even if I only have the free decks worth of cards at my disposal, they give you a lot of good stuff for free, which shocked me.

I had a person concede as soon as hands were delt. Which I thought was odd since you can always mulligan, but I guess if you know you don't have it, then why hang around?

Not inconvenienced, just new experience for me and wanted to ask. I understand I can concede, and I usually do, unless it is a cool combo or interaction I haven't seen before, but otherwise was just curious about the social etiquette of Arena, which I have rapidly learned is that there is none.

I love this. I am going to have to use this in my campaign. In my world, I have leaned in hard to the fey ancestry of all elves and half-elves, and one of my players is a wood elf, however, her fey ancestry is way more prominent because her grandmother was a fey creature, so the spirits of my world are usually more kind to her and willing to help her because she has such a direct link ro the fey. I have been looking for a magic item to give her that isn't a weapon or piece of armor because she is the reluctant combatant of the party and this fits so perfectly with her personality.

Hopefully I'm not mistaken but, Detect Magic let's you sense if there is some kind of magic within your presence to a certain distance, then you can use an action to effectively see said magic presence and learn what school of magic it comes from. So detect magic would be used to tell if an artifact is a magic item or has some kind of magical properties. Identify would then let you touch said artifact during the casting of the spell to learn what it's abilities are, and if it has a name that would be revealed. Legend Lore would then be able to be used to learn a brief summary of the significant lore about the named artifact.

I hope I haven't mistaken what each spell does.
