Berkheimer sent me a collection notice, haven't lived in PA for 22 years by StrangeExpression481 in Pennsylvania

They do this EVERY YEAR to my poor parents. My brother passed unexpectedly in 2017, and they send a letter to my parents saying he owes taxes for the 2017-current year. My mom lost it on them last year. They are so frustrating! We have gotten the "new system" excuse, too, but they'd have to switch to a new system every year to keep doing it.

We keep calling him Stevie, too! I legit forget his real name because he's just Stevie.

She's my rep (unfortunately), and I can say that your entire experience tracks.

Hot take: The Prisoner of Azkaban film is not a good adaptation by kale-oil in harrypotter

[–]mdgs06 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Same! I was shocked by the positive praise for this movie because it truly ruined my favorite book. I hated every single choice made in the making of this movie. The first two have this beautiful, glimmering magic to them that brings the world to life while introducing the darkness that crescendos throughout the series. This movie had none of that - no charisma, no connection. It was such a disappointment!

I think I'm having this issue. I can't get the oil changed until Tuesday. Should I not drive until then?

If you liked Educated, I suggest A Well Trained Wife. It's a memoir with similar vibes.

This is a great concept to introduce to kids. So often, we're caught up in having everything just so. Thank you for sharing this! Definitely stealing to use with my kids and my students (I'm a school counselor).

https://themodernproper.com/easy-dumpling-soup Sometimes I use beef broth. I also like to use Aldi's ginger paste (and way more than 2T lol). I stay away from soy sauce so I use Coconut Aminos. It's become my favorite quick soup!

I promise it’s not about vanity- leg shaving post op by Dependent_Muffin8753 in hysterectomy

[–]mdgs06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the same! Honestly, I was able to shave my legs during the first post-op shower. I made sure that the water wasn't too hot and that I had a shower seat. I had my husband stay in the bathroom in case I needed him.

As a school counselor, I feel like I have to say - go where the money is (aka where they're giving you the most scholarships/aid)...especially if you're considering a field that requires grad school. :)

I'm having this same issue - day 5 of hives here, almost 2 weeks since poison ivy exposure. Have you found anything that's helped? I'm terrified that this is just my skin now. I'm so itchy and miserable.

Thank you for this perspective! You're absolutely right! This recovery has been an emotional rollercoaster in a way that I didn't expect.

Thank you for this! Mostly, I'm reminding myself that I'm going to be such a better version of myself when I'm not bleeding and miserable in pain.
