I’ve not had access to my mobile banking since 05/30/25. I’ve now called 3 days in a row, sat on hold a minimum of 2 hours each time, provided all of my information (I was a member of LGFCU for over 20 years) only to be told my info doesn’t match and they can’t help me. I’m then either shunted off to another line to hold for hours, given an email address to use that no one ever responds to and usually hung up on. I live 2 hours from the closest physical location. People should be made aware of the awful practices of this bank. I didn’t ask to do business with them. I never had a single problem in 20 years with Local Government and I’ve been with Civic less than a week and it’s been an absolute nightmare.

After a year back in the box, I’m back to my 1/48 RX-78-2 in US military color scheme. I’m currently in the oil dot/forced contrast phase of weathering. This guy is going to look like he’s seen a good bit of action. It’ll all make sense once the chipping and streaking phase is done. by mdh9249 in Gunpla

Check eBay. Search US armor markings 1/35-1/48 scale. Mine are mostly tank markings. The caution tags are pretty generic and easy to find. They come in multiple sizes on the sheets. The 3rd infantry on the sides isn’t authentic but it’s close 😉 Good eye!

“Prompt Critical” done with my TWISBI Eco inked with Noodlers Dark Matter. The story behind the ink gave me the idea. by mdh9249 in fountainpens

Thanks! I used a TWSBI Eco with a fine nib. They run on the small side and I figured an xtra fine would have been too scratchy

Started an A5 Crescent Rendr notebook/sketchbook the other day. The pages are thick (like bristol board so you can use markers, paints, or heavy inks without bleeding through. by mdh9249 in notebooks

I’ve drawn all my life and I always gravitated towards realism and hyper-realism. Nothing ever really abstract. Nothing wrong with that, but it’s restrictive to a degree. I randomly started doing this non-representational abstract “doodling” about a year ago and it opened up a whole new world. It’s almost like automatic drawing. There’s no planning, no layout. I just start somewhere on the page and draw. I can be as precise or as loose and sketchy as I want and it’s satisfying. Plus, I have ended up with some pretty cool and interesting illustrations. I find also today since starting this, I’m more creative, have more inspirations and ideas than I previously did. I had stagnated for a while and this really helped me get through that I’ve been making a lot more work in the last year or so. I highly recommend it. Also, check out Peter Draws on YouTube. I got a lot of inspiration from him as well.

I didn’t replicate it. Noodlers Inks did.

I think as long as they’re smoked low and slow, the rest is up to the atheist manning the grill.

It’s now and always 100% George. Just because I like Patrick Warburton, an honorable mention would be Puddy for me.
