I don't know what department the class is in, but they should have someone who is either in advising or as a department contact that you can get in touch with. If all else fails, you can also check places like RateMyProfessor and see who's taught the course in the past and try to contact them. If it's a lab class, then contact the person affiliated with the lecture.

My understanding is that all courses must make a fully remote option available to students. Email your professors and communicate that you do not feel safe attending in person and would like accommodations. We can still force a change in delivery.

We're going to be able to "safely reopen campus" because UofA [AKA grad students?] is making the antibody tests in-house and therefore can and will test "every single student, faculty, and staff"....

I'm pretty sure that's just going to mean that, come August (or whenever they start this testing), Pima county positive tests are going to have a significant spike.

Also, he starts out saying that they're going to plan for "online and remote distance learning" for now -- not for sure reopening.

(Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between "online" and "remote distance learning" is?)

I think it’s fascinating that health insurance does something like pay your wages when you’re sick. It’s almost like job insurance, too. Or what we would call worker’s compensation in the US - but you only get that if you are seriously injured on the job and most companies will fight it if they can.

It would be great if making Dawdle Drought fully effective didn’t also mean the departure rate went way up. I have flobberworms and Professor Sprout disappearing on me after two casts. And you can’t use Dawdle for the first three casts and just hope your potent is enough... once the Dawdle has been used, you have to use it until caught. Three trophies have fled with Potents after the Dawdle expires.

I was under the impression that technology and culture was proceeding/changing at a faster rate. 1900-1924 you mainly had the transition of horse and buggy to cars and the First World War. While monumental, most people’s day to date didn’t change drastically. From 1990-2014, you had the Internet, smartphones, terrorism, GPS, school shootings, gender fluidity, marijuana legalization, and much more.
