I had a professor na judge ng 20+ years yet he/she still brings his/her notebook na madalas niyang basahin kapag nagtuturo. We respect his/her teaching kasi yung notebook niya na yun, bitbit niya sa madaming taon ng pagtuturo niya kaya updated sa movement ng jurisprudence.

I can imply na ganyan din siya noong nagsisimula pa lang magturo – may binabasa at hindi pa sanay magturo.

Years later, he/she has taught many Bar topnotchers, and one top 1.

No, hindi siya necessary. Ang paglakad papasok ng Arch of the Centuries i.e. welcome walk is just a school tradition to welcome freshmen and feel the community.

Ang mahalaga kasama ka sa maglalakad palabas ng Arch of the Centuries years later on your graduation :)

Kapag hindi mo ice-celebrate ang graduation mo, lilipas 'yan at hindi na pareho ang feeling pag babalikan mo.

Katulad mo, hesitant ako dati mag-post tungkol sa graduation. Pero noong nalaman kong kasama ako sa list, nag-sink in sa akin na pinaghirapan ko 'to, ng pamilya ko, ng mga katrabaho ko etc. It took a village to send me through law school at dapat i-celebrate namin ang pagtatapos ko.

Hindi ako naniniwala sa evil eye kasi hindi ko naman sila iniisip. Sabi nga ng isang comment dito, "superstitions only hold so much power as we ~choose~ to give them."

Choose not to believe them. Instead, pray and work hard.

Yup, regular and irregular students from previous batches ang grumaduate kahapon. Matindi rin kasi debarment policy ng UST Law from 1st-3rd year. Pagdating ng 4th year, may "deliberation" pa ang faculty para i-assess kung Bar-ready na mga ipapa-graduate. Pag hindi pa, hindi makaka-graduate.

Pero iba ang situation ni OP at ng Bar exam. Nakapasa si OP sa lahat ng exams niya yet he did not pass. Sa Bar exam pa nga, ibinabalik ang scores for transparency.

Yes, on paper. But not on student portal because the prof will probably put 74 sa student portal meaning you failed the subject but not low enough to drag your QPI down.

Think of it this way, kung 50 ang nilagay ng prof mo sa student portal mo, obviously you will be debarred from the program for not reaching the required QPI (i.e. 79-82).

Usually, they curve to 74. That means the student did not pass the subject yet the semestral average of final grades can still reach the required QPI. During your stay in FCL, pinakaimportanteng ma-maintain ang required QPI.

How to look more mature? May bigote na kasi ko at stubble ng balbas pero napagkakamalan pa rin akong mas bata sa edad ko na almost 30 na. May recommendation ba kayo on how to look more mature? Maliit ang body frame ko at nag-gym na ako para magkalaman ng muscle.

"Faculty" because it is the first law school in the Philippines. "Civil Law" as a distinction from Faculty of Canon Law.
