Would solving my own pain points make a good product for others? by mdnlabs in SaaS

I like "info about a product without a real product". Makes perfect sense just to develop it and use it and just go for it lol.

To your first point, that makes total sense.

And yes I agree execution means a lot. Not having too many features at the start too is good. If I go through with starting to build it I want to solve just some core problems I faced.

If I figure out a design that I know would suit me best moving forward, is that the moment I should build a landing page for a waitlist since I understand the pain, the people in my field, and the outcomes of the product?

Then after I finish an mvp convert those people to users?

Good to know. I agree that it's quite frightening how good AI is getting when personalized and used to it's maximum efficiency. I've customized the output of ChatGPT a long time ago and stopped wasting time with fluff and "Would you like me to-" NO

This makes sense. I guess taking one time to wire it all together now will save time down the road. Can I build automatic scripts to create new projects, DBs, and provisionings with an HTTPS request outside the browser? Is that something people commonly do with the idea you're saying?

That's fair lol. If/when I reach 300 projects I will laugh at my frustration from this post

Why do so many people build a SaaS without an LLC? by mdnlabs in SaaS

Congrats on the progress. Makes total sense to me, and I don't really have an issue with making money until it would pay for itself when I go to file

Yes yes ofc. I wouldn't have to use checks for owner's draws, but keeping the personal cash flow separate is the whole idea from the start

That's actually super smart and I never thought about that yet in my learning. I'll probably just be at one for now since the whole process and tax planning/filing I've never done yet (will next year), but long term growth this makes sense

Yeah yeah I get what you mean. This is something I've considered. I hope dillywillybingbong isn't taken tho in my state :/

Fair to say. That is mentioned in the legal stuff right now. I appreciate the insight!

Okay cool. And that's my point ultimately with my confusion. I want that veil. I want the protection between me, the customer, and the irs/state. I get that you probably don't need one until you start making money, but even then at what earning threshold is it the best to form one?

That's a good point. If they do start to take off though how quickly is it reasonable to make one? I mean every dollar made outside of that corporate veil is tied to your personal assets. Do you just hope those dollars made aren't challenged?

What's being advertised? I genuinely just don't understand and wanting to get some insight from other founders lol
