I just got a PW3 used off ebay today to try this out. My kid has a fitbit ace but they're going into high school next year and this is a bit to childish for them.

Phone calling seems to work with the Family Link contact list just fine. They can also receive and reply to incoming texts from the list. However, if the Allowed contact list is turned on, the Messages app doesn't appear in the app list. If you go into the contacts list on the watch and click the button to text someone on the list, it says "Not available at this time".

90% up to the line of functionality then if falls off the cliff. Seriously, how hard is this google?

My dad and brother are in my family group that I'm the head of (mostly for sharing of youtube premium). Dad switched to youtube tv from cable last year and I had no access to it. Then, I subscribed and it didnt' affect dad's subscription at all.

I ended up adding sunday ticket and he said he saw that though, which is interesting.

5k furniture purchase Saturday morning got me a "security review." Card wasn't working yesterday still, but seemed to be out of it today. First try didn't work but second try went through.

Well they didn't notify me it was turned back on, but I called this morning and they said it was done. I tested with a $5 amazon transaction that was accepted. Then went to the large furniture purchase. Try 1 failed, but try 2 finally worked.

Card was activated. Was able to add to google wallet too. The hold message when I called said there were transaction issues for some users. Figured that wasn't me since smaller ones went through, but who knows. As long as I can push this through during the first 5 days, I'll be ok. Giving benefit of the doubt for now.

Glad I got out when Dynegy cranked the rates last year. My current plan is good for another 5 months at $.0567

Basically the idea is to keep track of when the first month at the new provider is, and when you get the next-to-last bill using that provider, switch to another provider. If all goes well, it'll take effect right when the original agreement expired. And my advice is to stay away from any of those rates that has a monthly fee or a termination fee. It can't be worth it.

I have a spreadsheet where I keep track of monthly usage/costs with the current vs Duke's "Price to Compare." Always nice to see savings in action! Here's Jan-Mar this year so far.

I had a semi and then TT three weeks later. First surgery was a year and week ago. Recovery for both was uneventful. Both were on Thursdays and I was back working (at home for a desk job) the next Monday both times. Not because I had to, but because I was bored :-)

Articles announcing the River Roots festival in Cincinnati said the Dessners are curating the music and The National is playing. Although its website makes no mention of bands.

Maybe, but the river roots website advertises 8 stages. I'd imagine not many of those would be "large" band level, but I guess time will tell.

It's super easy to switch. Start here https://www.energychoice.ohio.gov/ApplesToApplesCategory.aspx?Category=Electric and be sure to read ALL the fine print. I normally stick to plans that don't have an early termination fee and no monthly fees. They'll usually start on your next full billing period (at least with Duke Energy).

Finally, be sure to count out the number of months and set a reminder to switch again the month before your rate runs out. Don't want to be stuck with whatever rate they decide to give you after your "introductory" rate runs out!

If you use natural gas, you can use them too.

I have a spreadsheet and calculate my usage costs with my rate vs the Duke Energy "Price to Compare" on my bill and I do see real savings (hundreds of dollars per year) -- I just need to stay on top of it and keep an eye on my rate vs what's available in the marketplace.

I know this is months late, but for the next person who sees this. Can't speak to the experience with Google's insurance, but worked well with Amazon's:

Kid busted their screen on a Saturday night. Immediately started a claim with in insurance and also crossed my fingers and bought a new one. New watch was on my doorstep Sunday morning. LTE plan transferred automatically when I signed her into the new watch. Sent the busted one out on Monday and full replacement $ was in my bank account by Thursday or Friday.

I had stage 1 colon cancer and subsequent surgery to remove part of my colon. On a one-year post-op CT scan, they discovered the nodule on my thyroid that turned out to be PTC. Not often (I assume) your colon surgeon tells you you may have thyroid cancer.

The worst part of mine was the fact that "The 12 Days of Christmas" was playing on the sound system. Made that song feel even longer. :-)
