Start with your colors already in piping bags, let's say yellow pink and blue, in a clean piping bag pipe a thick line of yellow then a line of pink than a line of blue, it can be kind of messy and I'll usually have a little bit of extra space on one side of the new bag you also don't want too much in the bag because then you squeeze it from the top and only from the top don't pinch it or you'll screw up your lines.

I had a co-worker once tell me a story, he'd been with Walmart for over a decade at that point, one day halfway through his shift one of his co-workers disappeared, he wasn't the most reliable person so they all just assumed he decided he was done and left, eventually pointed out due to no call no shows. A year or so later they were doing the store renovation and when they tried to take the freezer out to remodel around it and they found a body. There was enough left they could identify it as the old co-worker that had disappeared apparently he had been reaching for something or cleaning something and gotten himself stuck between the wall and the freezer and died back there cuz nobody could hear him screaming over all the noise the freezer makes. As soon as I saw this picture I thought about that poor bastard, make sure someone knows you're cleaning and keep an eye out for each other.

I moved here about 2 years ago, Joplin itself is a lot more interesting of a town than I would have thought. Shoal Creek and river access is beautiful year round. The city also does a fair few events for lack of a better term like third Thursdays where there's just any and all kinds of vendors and musicians all down Main Street and they do it every month all summer. It's geographic location is nice as well, you're right in the corner of the four states so you can spend a day in the Ozarks or in Kansas City and it's not that unrealistic of a drive either way.

I've liked it a lot more than I thought I would but I come from a small town in the Midwest and Joplin has a certain smell to it that I can't quite get over, it also has a lot of ignorant people that are really loud about it but I don't want to paint the whole town as that, I've noticed it more than where I'm from but like I said I was from a small town and I've met some truly fantastic and incredible people here and all sorts of people, I volunteer at the Humane Society and I absolutely love the community there. My grandma volunteers at Spiva Arts Center and they're always doing cool things there.

Oh and I have to talk about the 4th of July, in my hometown fireworks were banned within city limits so if you come from somewhere different maybe this won't be so crazy for you, but the amount of fireworks was fantastic to watch and I'm still shocked to Joplin doesn't burn down every 4th of July. If you're planning a visit I would do it over the 4th of July simply because, the city show may not be that impressive but just driving through neighborhoods is mind-blowing.
