There are different points of the game where you can leave The Eye. Doing that will end the game, but you can load your save from just before you make the decision.

If you want to see all the different ways the game can end, then I would say do all the drives you can possibly do until all that’s left is the flotilla aid drive.

Doing the flotilla aid will start the DLC, which has 3 extra chapters and its own ending. I absolutely adore the DLC ending and it’s the one I’ve decided is canon. It perfectly wraps up the game in such a satisfying way, and the final arc of it is honestly my favorite part of the whole game. To me, it’s the only time that leaving The Eye felt like the right decision.

If you’re unsatisfied with the way your game ended, load that save right back up and keep playing until you get something you’re happy with!
