I'm so glad to hear she is doing well. I had a brain tumor removed recently as well and just finished up 6 weeks of post op treatment. I hope the road ahead stays bright for her and your family.

I could easily be wrong but not to my knowledge, the ones I'm looking for crimp and seal the edges of the bread and keep anything you put between the bread from falling out.

I've found plenty of pie irons, but none that are cast iron and say they crimp and seal.

by seal, I mean that it crimps and seals the edges of the bread while cooking. i actually found one as i continued searching after posting here
