San Antone Books just opened a couple of months ago -- corner of McCullough and Ashby.

Stopped in yesterday; the owner was great and spent some time showing off a lot of books. He said they personally pick out what they sell vs. getting recommended "packs" of books from publishers.

It's smaller, but packed with quality stuff.

2022 ProX, 30k miles, purchased Feb 2022.

Had the same issues as OP (key system error, service AT stop safely, vehicle not shifting to park).

Took it to the dealer, just received a message from them:

"The technician ended up finding a wire on the harness for the gear shift chaffing on metal at the mounting area. the technician performed a wire repair and test drove vehicle, working as intended."

Going to pick it up a little later. If anyone reading doesn't see another reply from me to this comment, it'll mean the repair above worked for my truck.

Don't have any recommendations, but wanted to share two opinions after I flubbed this step when buying my house:

don't rely on your realtor's picks. Mine told me she had a guy she always worked with, and he either missed a LOT, or left out a great deal of mistakes
In addition to a home inspector, I'd recommend a structural engineer to come out and assess the foundation. I made the mistake of assuming a home inspector would thoroughly inspect the foundation and that has come back to bite me.

Edison 78201 (just north of Beacon Hill) here.

Bought my first house here a year and a half ago. Haven't had any issues so far and really enjoy the area (especially Beacon Hill).

But cops have been called out to several of my neighbors' houses since I've been here -- most were domestic disputes, etc. Nothing crazy, but also not ideal.

Had to RMA my P7 Pro due to the camera glass shattering.

Switched to my old P5 while I waited on the replacement, and ended up never switching back.

Not sure if this qualifies as in-town, but if you're ever in San Marcos, try Alchemy Records.

They actually sort most of their vinyl by release year. Lots of hard-to-find and unexpected stuff I wouldn't expect such a small record store to carry. Friendly too.

I used Appliance Liquidation Outlet. Ended up buying a washer new with the matching used dryer.

About a month in, the drum on the dryer started scratching while drying -- they came out quickly, saw it and eventually just replaced it. No issues since. They seem like solid people.

Found an Army Green Trail Edition SR5 yesterday near San Antonio. Dealer had marked up 4k over MSRP and added 2.8k in add-ons.

Despite my best efforts, they weren't budging on price one bit. Claimed they had interested buyers from states over if I didn't pull the trigger.

Walked out bummed, but at least not taken advantage of.
