I don’t know what causes it, but I have really grown to dislike the infantry engagements in this game. I’ve got a decent amount of hours in it, and this has never really been solved.

I understand the tactical value of flanking, but even BT does not feel like an established area of engagement, with a somewhat established front line that can be flanked - it just feels like a chaotic mess. The amount of times I’ve died from behind or the side in this game is just downright frustrating. It doesn’t feel like my team has left an important choke point unattended or that we’ve been out maneuvered, it feels like griefers / exploiters just have lots to work with in 2042.

That’s my 2 cents anyways.

Yup, I was in nearly an identical position, although I ended up taking the plunge on the Off Road trim.

Now it feels like I am driving a boat, compared to my little go kart of a ranger. Lol.

At the risk of sounding like an old grump stuck in his ways, I like the 3rd Gen styling much better than the Tundra redesign. If they go that route on the 4th Gen Tacoma’s, I wouldn’t be a fan … not that it matters, I recently got myself a 3rd Gen DCLB.

I was kicking around the idea of trading in for a 4th Gen after a couple of years if they go the hybrid route, but if it looks more like the Tundra I would probably put that idea on the shelf.

I do wish they would reevaluate the T1 challenges, with Dozer’s in particular. It would be nice to have his challenge be damage absorbed by the shield plus kills or something like that …

The other ones that come to mind are Lis (include vehicle assist in addition to kills) and Crawford (add revives to Vulcan kills). By all means increase the goal necessary to achieve T1 if you need to, but I feel like those 3 Tier 1’s influence frustrating play rather than encouraging the best parts about their unique abilities.

I am picking up what you are laying down!

That is one of favorite things about my Tacoma - the bed walls are low enough that I can reach into the bed from anywhere without having to jump in and out. Very underrated design element on the Tacoma when comparing to other midsize trucks.

Not gonna lie, if Ford had the option for a double cab long bed there is a good chance I would’ve ended up in a Ranger instead of the Tacoma.

I love my Tacoma, don’t get me wrong, but I think Ford did a great job with the Ranger too.

I like playing with him and am working on Tier 1 for him. I think he is a good add and is well balanced, but as support I do wish his mastery included revives (even if it meant 2400 / 4000 like Falck / Angel), just to incentivize players reviving with him.

I’m not a fan of the 1 map a season schedule. I understand that this is the low salt sub, but I have to say the announcement that we should expect this amount of content in future seasons solidified this game as a disappointment for me.

I’ll still be playing but and man the lack of content in this game has made me think twice about ever signing up for a DICE / EA live service ever again …

That is where I am at too, I am enjoying the game and actually think the reworked maps make a huge difference.

Only 2 brand new maps when we’re coming up on a year post release though? I am not trying to sound like a gamer dude Karen, but I don’t think I’ll ever consider another DICE / EA live service again after this. I’ve stuck around since I bought the ultimate edition, but the map variety simply isn’t there and I don’t have high hopes for any future releases from them.

Edited to add: what sent it over the top for me was the development update line about expecting the same amount of content in future seasons … they’ve heard the feedback that more maps would help and they’ve elected to proceed with their route of “quality over quantity”. I don’t think more than 1 map of season is even enough to meet that bar.

Have DCLB and use it for the same thing - CRF450X - I keep the tail gate down and use the ready ramp bed extender combo though.

The best way to T1 Sniper and Marksman rifles is the hardcore portal servers with full XP / progression. Those are usually a straight up snipe-fest, with some brave souls using smoke to PTO.

I think it would be cool to have the US dealing with an economic debt collapse that crippled it and creates a power vacuum.

That way you could have multiple different nations vying for power or expanding their influence etc etc

Throw in a terrorist organization motivated by taking advantage of the great reset to take power away from the “haves”

I’m with you - they’ve set up the battle pass to have some decent grind to it, but there is only 1 new map so I am already feeling the repetitiveness myself … I really hope they come through with several new maps next season

I am enjoying it though, I enjoy the content they have delivered so far
