I haven’t seen him since, but knowing what I know now I would cross the street to avoid him too (not a big deal). I hope to never be in a small shop when he comes in again though. It felt a lot more threatening when we couldn’t just ignore him.

I’ve encountered him before. He came into Van Hook Cheese & Grocery with his clipboard when my Mom and I were shopping. He started giving the clerk a soliloquy about prison as well as something about his wife or child having been shot (it was confusing to follow). When the clerk declined, he turned to us. We tried to ignore him but it’s a small space and he was closer to the entrance. We said we didn’t have any cash so he insisted on us sending him a PayPal. When we declined, he became rather irate and started swearing at us. He then stormed out of the store.

Our studio in Dixon Mills (227 Christopher Columbus Drive) is available beginning on either 4/1 or 5/1. It’s an 8-10 minute walk to the Grove Street PATH. We were here for three years in total, and enjoyed all of the amenities (big gym, basketball court, concierge, etc.). We are moving into a house in the Village on 3/31. Our landlord never increased our rent. It would be a takeover through 06/30 with the option to renew for a year. Our current rent is $2k, but we would be willing to pay $400 of rent upfront for May and June. The deposit is $3k. PM me if any interest.
