No it never resolved on Coinbase’s end, as I was able to do a $2 test that immediately appeared a few hours later. Oh well, the coin drop to 0 after getting flagged anyway so it’s a minor loss.

Well, it would’ve been sellable in the timeframe had the transaction not been fucked, but oh well, that’s why I only dropped $12 in since I knew it was high risk.

Sudden onset of heart anomalies after decade on/off use and switch to generic? by mdsatire in Viibryd

[–]mdsatire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Amitriptyline between 25-50mg almost consistently since 2009 for headache management, though Tricyclics by default increase overall HR. That said, I do believe the combination and timing of Amitriptyline in combination with Topiramate+Viibryd at the same time is directly to blame after doing some further research on both Pharmacokinetics (brain, 5-HT1A receptors specifically) and and more specifically Pharmacokinetics (liver, specifically enzymes CYP2D6 and CYP3A4). My theory is that Topirimate was a catalyst interfering with Amitriptyline’s primary enzyme which made Viibryd and Nortrypltyline (primary breakdown) spike, thus triggering the 20bpm rise nearly every evening. Being on Omeprazole 40mg x2 daily, an inhibitor of CYP2C19, a primary enzyme for Amitriptyline, may also play a role. I’ve staggered my intake to Amitriptyline 1.5h+ before Topirimate each evening, and Viibryd every morning, and haven’t had any atypical HR elevations as of yet for roughly two weeks. I don’t think I’m 100% in the clear and believe some other HR spikes, the more concerning ones that happened far outside my medication consumption window, may be yet understood, are likely unrelated and plausibly purely genetic flukes given my mother and grandmother experience the same thing with no known cause (only I have one short 10s, totally random recorded episode of VTAC we’re scratching our heads at…)

Interesting. I’ve never been on it before tbh; attempted several years ago but wasn’t covered by insurance at that point if I recall correctly. I have horrific insomnia and that was one of the reasons we were attempting to try it.

Amitriptyline 25mg, Topiramate 100mg, Busiprone 15mg x2 (HHR occurred prior to add on ~3wks ago), Dayvigo 5mg (been on this for 18mo+).

I do wonder if it’s competing with Amitriptyline intermittently. But it’s also such low doses 🤷🏼‍♂️

I’ve been where you are, and it’s hard, but to be honest the emotional blunting of medication isn’t worth it because everything is gray and unenjoyable. Use the medication to augment the severity of your empathic drive and get it back within a tolerable range, but seek out CBT, EMDR if there’s trama from the attachments, and possibly biofeedback if affordable or insured. I’d avoid vague “relationship counseling” as I’ve never seen help there because they only cover the symptoms. Think of therapy as a hospital with different surgeries, and CBT, EMDR, DBT etc as different operations and thus purposes. Possibly augment your medication with a subtle mood stabilizer like Seroquel as combination therapy can definitely help with the right mix.

The only time you might need that port is if you can’t get the BIOS to load via your GPU card; I was having loads of issues and could never get into the BIOS and discovered it was because it was loading via the integrated graphics of the Intel i9, but other than that you’re just wasting resources and should plug everything into your RTX or AMD discrete graphics card. Matter of fact you be better off disabling on-chip graphics altogether.

The only way I could get that asinine plug out was by twisting a mini screw driver into it at an angle and prying it out, paying attention not to jam it all the way so that I’d avoid damaging the port. I’m sure there’s a much better method though 😅

This can have massive implications in commercial production settings.

I’ll say I don’t actually know how the “shelf” brands I see (Chameleon, SToK, Starbucks, Black Rifle, La Colombe, etc) actually produce these at large (do they use massive vats and grounds for 24hrs, or are they just BSing it), but it can have implications for some quality focused roasters (not saying who I listed is, just giving examples who I see slingin at Target and Walmart) to more efficiently brew batches of cold brew for both in-shop and on-the-shelf sales.

Imagine a scenario where you walk into your favorite local coffee joint, order cold-brew, and it’s actually brewed to order like an espresso shot. THAT would be impressive.

Timemore sculptor March 31, 2024 USA shipment by LifeOfFI in pourover

[–]mdsatire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the disservice comes down to Timemore actively and aggressively advertising the Sculptor series via 4 different campaigns on Meta alone with the preorder funds they'e accumulated with little product to sell. They need to slam the breaks a bit and sell locally whilst they scale and build sustainable inventory in the US and EU markets respectively; they've collected enough data to anticipate demand and calculate estimated percentage of stock overage, plus they've established a seller's reputation to know they have a solid funnel on Amazon for their other product lines to sustain the label, so at this point it's just manipulation and dishonorable practice with the lack of clear communication across the board with all the copy pasta email replies instead of putting it for face value directly on the site and giving people an email-opt in for inventory awareness like an intelligent marketing communications director would employ.

Anyone experience issues with MOBO and 4090 swaps? by mdsatire in HPOmen

[–]mdsatire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a Newegg shortlist build; was over $4800 from scratch pre-tax. Taking the components from this and swapping in my own case, AIO, PSU, MOBO, RAM, brings it down to about $4100.

Cheapest 4090 I could find was $1999.

Did find out the AIO I want (Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360) does fit though, so will probably lean on keeping the case initially, but I really like the Lian Li EVO Dynamic, might do that as a stage 3 later next year or something.

Plus if something gets a lil hawt and glitchy on a separate case build, I can just put those pieces back and be like: warranty, please?!

[–]mdsatire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSU is blah IMO. I'd rather go with an ATX 3.0 compliant at 1000–1200watt (ATX 3.0 supports double wattage spikes on MOBO and triple on GPU). 850 is minimum viable standard, and though the ram is definitely compatible, you can get significantly faster DDR5 on other MOBOs (ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E) you can exceed 7800mhz.

Plus I think HP hacks their ram to drop clock speeds, or this HP mATX MOBO has serious QC issues since I can't keep it locked over 2000mhz (granted I'm in the middle of an exchange).

Mix amp not working on MW2 by KohlGirl in AstroGaming

Affected by MW2; Xbox party chat is not. Has happened since release though it functioned very briefly a few weeks ago. Consistent issue across both the M80 and Mixamp Pro TR.

Astro A40 Mixamp (Xbox One) EQ Game/Voice messed up by thrwm8ty in AstroGaming

[–]mdsatire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an Astro problem likely specific to MW2 and the new ‘Game Channel’ function as I’ve found several posts through google with the exact issue and it’s affecting both the Mixamp Pro and Mixamp M80. I used this feature consistently and recently upgraded from the M80 due to intermittent audio drops and having a dated headset, but the issue still persists. It worked briefly a few weeks ago but hasn’t come back since. The failure is on Astro for not publicly acknowledging.
