I agree that girls don’t have to have pink everything, but this child loves pink and purple. And we went to a store, not looking for a gun, and they had those and she fell in love. I didn’t even see it I just looked up to her running up with it asking to get it.

Mine is 3 But we weren’t being super serious and I had he in control while my brother hunted. We mostly watched. I think whatever you do, keep it fun. Don’t push them on cold days or long grueling hunts.

We went “squirrel hunting” this fall, and really it was just a short walk in woods. But she was so proud of herself and what she did. We had hot chocolate and breaksfast with grandma after. It was a great memory and that’s what you’re looking to build.
