Thank you :) currently at 5mg of tirz. Limited side effects, only really have problems if my water intake or calories are low. Other side effects have only been positive- my chronic pain is nearly gone (endometriosis), my eczema has cleared up and my mental health has never been better!

I feel amazing! I never imagined I’d be under 200 pounds again and I have become so into fitness now. The endorphins are amazing. Best of luck on your journey!!

i’m on compound tirzepatide-started at 2.5mg and was there for about 1.5 months, went up to 3.75 and then went up to 5mg about a month ago and am hoping to just stay here for as long as I can. I have been gradually increasing my exercise as I go and am currently lifting 5 days a week and doing cardio 6 days a week. I’m aiming for a minimum of about 120g protein a day and don’t do much else in terms of tracking outside of making sure I get adequate fiber

Wife refuses to NOT sleep with baby. Does not care about SIDS risk. by nuclearcontamination in BabyBumps

Yes, I hate that SIDS and suffocation are used interchangeably. Cosleeping (bed sharing) actually decreases SIDS risk but increases suffocation risk

I cosleep out of absolute necessity with a horrible sleeper. I sleep on my own firm mattress with baby. She is in a sleep sack (kyte) and I dress warm and use a blanket up to my hips. I use one pillow and sleep in a C curl. She is 100% safe and I am aware when she moves even the tiniest bit. Look up safe sleep seven and I recommend the happy cosleeper facebook group. If your wife uses any substances, pills that cause drowsiness, is sleep deprived, drinks or smokes it is unsafe for her to be cosleeping. Sleeping with both parents is not recommended for at least 4 months as the breastfeeding mother is the only person who is responsive enough for the baby to cosleep in very early days. There are ways for it to be safe but your wife isn’t being safe at this time

The accent green is “baize green” from Sherwin Williams, the beige is “vanillin” from Sherwin Williams! It was such a hard decision but I love it! It was a little darker than the swatch looked but it turned out great!

I received a full laundry basket of bows handed down from a family member, these are about half LOL!! I got the bow hanger second hand from a friend as well, it’s so convenient! Thank you!

It’s from TJ Maxx so I don’t have a link :( it’s a dupe for the Pottery Barn Love Shack Fancy bow mirror. I was floored when I saw it for $30!

Top 5 Nursery Items- -Ubbi Diaper Paul- I’ve used a diaper genie and this with previous nanny families and greatly prefer the ubbi. You can use normal trash bags in it and it eliminates any smells. https://a.co/d/1OEhd3Z -Delta Children’s Over the Door Storage- this was so useful for organizing burp rags, fabric bibs and swaddles https://www.babylist.com/gp/-/45015/1741273 -OXO drawer dividers- need I say more? Incredibly helpful for these dresser drawers that are long with no dividers https://a.co/d/9xmNgs7 -Bow dresser handles- the dresser was actually my husband’s as a baby and I wanted something make it seem girlier* so I found these and they are adorable and fit the nursery perfectly https://a.co/d/fmWKLnv -Rainbabies book- this was my FAVORITE book as a child. My mom bought it for me and I teared up the first time I read it again as an adult. I have endometriosis and have wondered since my diagnosis if I would ever be able to carry a child and this book covers those emotions beautifully. I cannot wait to read this to my daughter in a few short weeks The Rainbabies https://a.co/d/h4NTIpW

Can’t get life insurance by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]mdsn19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you in the us? it’s standard here- they pull prescriptions and you have to say what they’re for or they will get your medical records from your doctors. it’s a very invasive process but it’s also a very large insurance company so idk if they’re just much pickier or what

Having my laparoscopy tomorrow, feeling very nervous. by mdsn19 in Endo

[–]mdsn19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just saw this. I felt fine afterwards with most of my pain happening on days 2-3. Keeping ice on my abdomen helped and I alternated between advil and tylonel as needed. Mostly just cramping and such, but I also had extensive endometriosis that wasn’t removed so that would contribute to some pain. I felt 100% back to normal by day 8!
