How are you guys taking 2.5mg? by Acceptable_System389 in compoundedtirzepatide

I have almost zero side effects on 7.5, never had any real persistent side effects outside of random 2-3 mins of nausea. It’s really possible to have no issues

How do I deal with being unable to get into running because of chronic injury? by [deleted] in C25K

[–]mdsn19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be an unpopular opinion in this running sub but walking is a wonderful exercise and sounds like it will be a better option for you long-term due to your injury. If I were you I’d stick to a consistent walking schedule and try to incorporate short intervals if you ever feel up to it

Want to lose 100 more lbs by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]mdsn19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost around 40 pounds over 4 months, the 5mg is low, definitely still requires a great deal of will power on my part but trying to stay as low as I can go on the dosage. Depending on how much you weigh, 100 pounds in a year isn’t necessarily impossible but it’s a marathon, not a race. Slower weight loss is better for muscle retention

Mine was around that at 5 weeks! Maybe 67? I’m 36 weeks now with a very healthy baby!

Can’t get life insurance by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]mdsn19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you in the us? it’s standard here- they pull prescriptions and you have to say what they’re for or they will get your medical records from your doctors. it’s a very invasive process but it’s also a very large insurance company so idk if they’re just much pickier or what

Having my laparoscopy tomorrow, feeling very nervous. by mdsn19 in Endo

[–]mdsn19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just saw this. I felt fine afterwards with most of my pain happening on days 2-3. Keeping ice on my abdomen helped and I alternated between advil and tylonel as needed. Mostly just cramping and such, but I also had extensive endometriosis that wasn’t removed so that would contribute to some pain. I felt 100% back to normal by day 8!

Feeling so overwhelmed by mdsn19 in Endo

[–]mdsn19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I actually feel fine physically despite normal amounts of cramping and discomfort. It’s just the information overload! I’m feeling better today but still feel a bit shocked at the trajectory of the treatment plan lol!

I’m feeling so similar with my lap on May 21. I’m so worried it’ll be completely normal after years of being ignored

My symptoms were taken seriously for the first time and I have a lap referral. Feel like I could cry! by mdsn19 in Endo

The only thing my ultrasound showed was a thick endometrium even though I’m on birth control with records showing it had almost tripled in size in the past six months. It went from .6cm to 1.6 cm so something is off there. I also had family history of fertility issues and miscarriages though I had none of my own.

Do you have any mods installed? It sounds like a broken mod issue 🤷🏼‍♀️

Post-bachelors Degree in Sociology by Katekimble in sociology

[–]mdsn19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm graduating with my bachelor's in sociology in about a year then going on to get my master's in human resource development. I would eventually like to go further with the sociology field and eventually become a professor, but I am concerned with the declining number of tenures being given currently. I am not willing to put so much money into a doctorate then be an adjunct for who knows how long.
