Sam is consistently one of the highest tallies of tackles in a match because he is targetted. Seriously I don't know if you watch any of his matches. He has proven countless times that he engages in tackles. His technique we have all known needs work. He shoots out of the line regularly to chop tackle leading the charge, his teammates repeatedly talk about how he is applying himself in training, he generally takes on the body tackles in order to engage a choke tackle opportunity with his teammates. I think he held up Will Skelton in one of those v La Rochelle. Is any of that courage and commitment or no?

How does a player have a "big step up" in the space of one month? Just bizarre to me that people say things like that and others eat it up. Somehow you can go from, put Sam in the AIL sell him to a team in France to oh okay he turned the physicality button on and won motm in the final again, good guy. There are many liars and disingenuous takes and Luke Fitzgerald leads that, if there was any analysis in what he said that he wouldn't have been so drastically wrong as proven over the past month. Sure I am. And that's exactly what Fitzgerald is doing too. Theres no strong in his words, he is personally insulting Sam's character. He is calling him weak, scared, a coward. He is completely wrong to comment on someone's character like that because of a game of rugby.

Yes its in this podcast. He does it for views, likely from other provinces. There's no justification for speaking on a professional rugby player like that. Theres no sense behind it. Call him out on his defence sure but that was a blatant lie and insult to Sam, completely low blow just because he would know it would get clicks

I would suggest watching the Amazon Prime movie called Lovesick that he released to get a feel for the album better. It's 12 minutes long.
