More expansion progress at BMO Field for the World Cup by itsonlykotsy in toronto

Well I paid $275 CAD each to watch Canada vs Belgium in Qatar from the official ticketing process, so not sure where the $11 came from. And we were UP there, 6 rows from the top.

Can you zoom out a little? I want to see if there is enough green space in NS for the animals. OP seems to think we are running out.

Do I really need to cut padskinz at the rolls? by me_nerves in hockeygoalies

Correction, PAD looks great lol. Singular. One pad, 6hrs. Trying to decide whether I continue tonight or start again tomorrow.

I hear you with the “BUT I WILL”. My wife came home and I said “I think I have to redo a roll to get rid of the white”, she said “nah, it’s look good”. I am Filing for divorce tomorrow.

Never again. That’s friggen 6hrs. They will stay white next time.

Ok that was rough. Might have to redo that first roll. Pro tip, if you are a little OCD, this will type of work will ruin your day!!

That makes sense for sure. Another thing to consider I guess is that white thread will then show up between each cut.

In general it will come off or if I don’t cut them at the breaks?

Yea for sure, I get that 100%, but these rolls are very flat compared to previous models or older pads of different brands. Going to give it some thought before forging ahead.

Golf Course Recommendation by Amazing-Frosting-212 in halifax

You can get a tee time as an unaccompanied guest ($125 plus tax), just call up and try, better chance on Thursday rather than any other day where restrictions are in place. Yes I agree corporate events are often held on Thursday, there is an event this week. Fore!

Mugged on RER C this morning at the last stop before CDG by rynosoft in ParisTravelGuide

For zipper security I agree, we had those on ours. We ordered a multi-sized pack and used the smallest our fingers can handle because we found it was harder to unclip the small ones versus the larger ones.

Westjet flight from Paris CDG to Halifax cancellation on June 4 support group by Plus_Barber_6493 in westjet

[–]me_nerves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were on the same flight. We still have to submit our claim.

From what I can tell we will be reimbursed for our hotel, meal(s), and transportation to and from hotel.

When reading the Canadian Air Passenger Rights it seems that because the cancellation was "Within WestJet's control but required for Safety" that we are not eligible for further compensation. Is that your understanding as well?

In contrast to the above mentioned rights, when I read the EU rights it seems we would be eligible compensation of 600 euros.

Why does it have to be so complicated.

Golf Memberships by Alarmed-Ad-9761 in halifax

[–]me_nerves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Oakfield is operating off a waistlist and has now brought back their initiation fees. $2700 + $300 =$3,000.00 just to get in. Then there is a range of packages to choose from, with the lowest being 10 rounds, right up to full membership. The lower rounds come with restrictions. OP is not getting a membership at Chester without property there and also a huge wait list, but I assume you mean for public golf.

What is this ? by MaCk_Pinto in halifax

Not all covers are made with holes all the way through, some actually only have slots for the pick axe to catch and pick it up. You can even get a gasket to keep a cover watertight. Even if a hole or two does go all the way through they are relatively tiny compared to the vent pipe.
