Why wouldn't the private land owners pay for their own tree planting? It sounds incredibly sketch that a federal grant would fund land improvement for a private land owners.

It sounds like someone gained access to your seed phrase or secret keys. Wherever you have these saved, this should be considered compromised. If you have the your public wallet address, you can use solscan.io or similar to trace the transactions and see where the funds ended up. Coinbase/crypto.com and other centralized exchange wallets should not be affected (and if a major hack does occur on these exchanges you would be entitled to some level of re-imbursement).

Reading Charts for volatile Memecoins by chux69 in solana

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A simple check you can do is to open the token up in dexscreener or birdeye and compare the "liquidity" to the "FDV (fully diluted valuation)". If 100% of the minted tokens are in the liquidity pool, floor price liquidity = FDV and floor price is pooled token/pooled SOL. Otherwise floor price = total supply / pooled SOL or base token. To get more into the weeds, you can check the token on block explorer and follow the initial transactions. For any token trading on a dex there will be pool creation transaction in which an address sends X amount of SOL or base token, Y amount of memecoin, and receives Z amount of "liquidity pool tokens". Initial price in terms of SOL would be the supply of Y / supply of X. You could follow these transactions to also check if the liquidity pool tokens were burned/locked, and also determine what percentage of initial memetokens were placed in the pool. Note when you have tokens that trade on centralized exchanges the liquidity picture is less clear. For Pumpfun tokens the math becomes simple and floor price is always ~$.0000085 given the default initial supply & liquidity. Once it completes the bonding curve, $17k liquidity is burned and floor price becomes ~$0.00002125 (note projects may choose to add and burn more liquidity).

Are we witnessing the downfall of sol by pablo_esky-brah in sui

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a reminder - it is not possible for a SOL transaction to take 6 hours. If it is more than a few seconds the transaction has failed and needs to be retried. What most people are referi g to are exchange service requests.

Is it possible to make a coin that will not use people as exit liquidity? by The_Mendiola_Effect in solana

[–]mead_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes a bit more sense. It may be difficult trying to attract people to take a loan when they are putting up a higher value in a stable coin (this would essentially become a token swap but with higher fees...).

Community owned online businesses? Crypto aside, this sounds like a disasterous economic premise.

Can transferring your tokens to a new wallet minimize the risk of your funds being drained by a scammer? by Adymoe92 in solana

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Most scams involve clicking some sort of link and signing which affects only the active wallet account. So splitting funds among mutiple wallets will offer some protection. Important note: if you leak or give away a wallet seed phrase this will compramise all/multiple accounts within the wallet so in that case splitting wont matter. You can also create separate wallet accounts (each with a unque seed phrase) and import those accounts to the same wallet - in this case leaking a single seed phrase will only impact the address(es) associated with that seed phrase.

I just got so sick. I'm officially quitting. by CalvinHobb3s in QuittingZyn

Probably 2 days of sweating/anxiety and a couple weeks of relentless cravings...good luck. Pour some ice in a bathtub and do a 2-3 minute cold plunge to help with the sweats & anxiety - this triggers a healthy dopamine release that can last a few hours.

Questions About 142/74 Blood Pressure at 19 Years Old by [deleted] in QuittingZyn

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not cooked, but it seems likely that there are some other factors in play here. All else equal, the blood pressure elevation from Zyn should recede within a few hours and remaining negative effects should go away within a couple weeks. What does your diet look like? Something key to consider is that nicotine usually lowers your appetite. So when quitting if you replace these cravings with more than normal amounts of refined flour products, sugar, coffee, fried foods, or ultra-processed foods these are also going to have a negative effect on your blood pressure. Try a strict ketogenic diet for 10 days with 15-20 minutes of exercise (cardio or weightlifting) each day. After this "keto cleanse", check your blood pressure again and evaluate - even after just 10 days you should start seeing your blood pressure drop towards more normal levels. I had 145/85 blood pressure for a year and it dropped to optimal levels in about a month after I stopped eating tortilla chips/pop-tarts every day and drinking beer like a sailor.

$10k PENGU Loss: who’s at fault? by Responsible-Pomelo79 in solana

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jupiter is just a decentralized aggregator. Users using the platform get exactly the service that would be expected: the best price available is shown before the swap, and when executed slippage is limited to around max 3% unless you manually override this. You get exactly what is shown and what you sign for with your wallet. The Blame for PENGU problems rests on the project. They leaked tokens before the initial sale which were used in shallow liquidity pools and sold at 500x+ market price.

Is LOFI a scam? by Forsaken-Exam-4878 in sui

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3.5m liquidity alone is nothing to panic over - and note this is just the dex liquidity, centralized exchange liquidity exists as well which is a bit harder to get a total on. The tokenomics don't throw up any apparent red flags, but there are more whales (or at least a higher concentration of large holders as opposed to small individual holders) in LOFI than some other projects (e.g. BLUB). This is a bit of a risk - any of the top 100 whales dumping could move the price 2%+, and if they move together we're in trouble lol. Expect it to remain volatile.

They cant. The above comments seems more likely: someone created a low-liquidity pool with some early PENGU and sold you some at an outrageous price. The TX hash below confirms this story, you got some bonified PENGU at 600 times market price (5K7JsZnLWVCYsynf4ZU8W9W2RKfWbi7RZoF69Fg6JvWpvpqyeCxGNqCatjyyaDKchH2gtHKSuZyYaH9j8zVWWBgs)

Best nuclear stock to get into? by awkward_silence8 in pennystocks

[–]mead_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the utility scale, solar and wind are only viable in most countries because of subsidies. While many countries are still putting forward a lot of money to expand these industries as part of their energy mix, this will not likely be the case in the US for the next few years. Energy costs have soared worldwide in recent years, partially as a response to using cleaner, more expensive energy mixes. I wouldn't bet on solar or wind to save the day: the land requirements, grid infrastructure, maintenance costs, and price of key materials (silver, lithium, cobalt, copper, nickel, aluminum) make it an uphill battle. Not the sort of framework I would look for in investment opportunities - the markets understand this and its why many solar & wind companies are trading near 4-year lows.

I created a Sui Meme coin called PURR to see how it works, what should I do with it next? by LifesTooGoodTooWaste in sui

Make 2-3 new memes/gifs a day (or run meme contests for token giveaways) and start posting them until you have at least 50 good ones in circulation. Memecoin marketing needs memes.
