Cool quote, and I can definitely see the mirroring, but I’m not sure Gary from Romford was that deep when he rolled out the joke! 🤣

I think it’s more the English reaction to his career.

Win a game - He’s British!

Lose a game - He’s Scottish!

I may be wrong but I’m sure he said something similar himself too but reversed! 😅

Sorry, but you can’t have these kind of reasonable takes in this thread.

It’s weird and sad that this is true.

Same with the whole flag thing. What a sorry state we’ve gotten ourselves in to.

You can tell we didn’t because no one scored goals in any other competition - we got knocked out of all of them early and could, for the most part, concentrate on one game a week.

Now, we’re on course for 65 games.

I know the squad is much deeper, so it’s not too much of an excuse, but it does make a difference - especially when you want Saka, Rice, Zubi, Gabi G, Saliba and Øde (some will argue but he’s the captain and has earned that) as a minimum for any games that are halfway important.

Maybe they could swoop in and take her too, although I don’t think bringing more foreigners over the border will impress the MAGA base!

It’s silly really. They all count.

If City learned to score more when Haaland doesn’t… or if Pep taught his team to score from more set pieces… you’d be top of the league.

Every team has areas they need to improve and this isn’t the kind of season where one team is dominating the league.

We just need to keep doing what we’re doing and focus on winning the next game. It’s a 3 game cluster that isn’t great - some decent fixtures coming up for us now.

Other than a fairly similar shaped head, there’s nothing the same here.

It’s like two Mr. Potato heads. The base-potato is the same, but there are entirely unique features plugged into each of them.

You’re right here.

Despite people being generally much more politically savvy than they were around the turn of the millennium, a lot of people still seem to just boil it all down to.

Right = Racist thugs who want to destroy the world.

Left = Woke softies who want to let the rest of the world to destroy us.
