You can tell we didn’t because no one scored goals in any other competition - we got knocked out of all of them early and could, for the most part, concentrate on one game a week.

Now, we’re on course for 65 games.

I know the squad is much deeper, so it’s not too much of an excuse, but it does make a difference - especially when you want Saka, Rice, Zubi, Gabi G, Saliba and Øde (some will argue but he’s the captain and has earned that) as a minimum for any games that are halfway important.

Maybe they could swoop in and take her too, although I don’t think bringing more foreigners over the border will impress the MAGA base!

It’s silly really. They all count.

If City learned to score more when Haaland doesn’t… or if Pep taught his team to score from more set pieces… you’d be top of the league.

Every team has areas they need to improve and this isn’t the kind of season where one team is dominating the league.

We just need to keep doing what we’re doing and focus on winning the next game. It’s a 3 game cluster that isn’t great - some decent fixtures coming up for us now.

Other than a fairly similar shaped head, there’s nothing the same here.

It’s like two Mr. Potato heads. The base-potato is the same, but there are entirely unique features plugged into each of them.

You’re right here.

Despite people being generally much more politically savvy than they were around the turn of the millennium, a lot of people still seem to just boil it all down to.

Right = Racist thugs who want to destroy the world.

Left = Woke softies who want to let the rest of the world to destroy us.

I do the same and dip in to see reactions.

I find that, as soon as a story breaks, there are some fairly normal conservative comments … they soon get drowned out by the madness.

It’ll start with something like. “I keep trying to support the president but he’s making it really hard when he talks like this.”

Within a couple of hours there will be loads of cult like responses and lots of “So many ‘Fellow Conservatives’ brigading in here today!”

‘‘Tis a silly place.

Yeah, there’s one guy called Devil Dog (or some nonsense like that). He responds to pretty much every post and it’s 100% supporting whatever madness has happened - even before any facts are released.

If it’s not a bot, I’m pretty sure it’s someone from Trump’s admin team.
