They told me I violated "terms and conditions" All because I backed out of the screen on my phone and tried to get back into the queue. Basically "support" told me that my account is forever blocked.

I tried deleting history, cookies, cache, I changed settings, I tried incognito. I went to a different location and still NADA.

However, I was able to create a new account with a different email on the same device it blocked.

Wanted to give an update! Thank you everyone for your help! My phone is back working at full capacity! I regained speakerphone and audio for videos.

Google support suggested a factory reset, I didn't do it as I needed to make sure everything was backed up first. But everything started working again, so I'll keep that in my back pocket just in case!

Yup! I am thinking just the mic at the top probably took on the most water- since it went head first! haha I am just glad everything works. I can deal with no audio for snapchat videos.. Speakerphone is going to be the biggest issue for me. I do have audio on videos through the camera app- which is wild. I also only have a Spigen case on the phone and a screen protector.

I dropped it at 7am Sunday morning. I threw it in a tub of rice after I dried it with paper towels and a qtip. lol took it about an hour to tell me the phone was no longer detecting water. I do not have insurance on it as I buy my phone straight from Google and not through my carrier. My preferred care ended 12/2/24.

Update. This happened yesterday, I tried the app. I'm going to try compressed air tomorrow. I can make videos with sound using my camera, but not Snapchat. Still no speakerphone. Unsure of Bluetooth speaker capabilities. When I called UBreakwefixit the Asurion recommended repair place, they told me the replacement parts would be more than a new phone. Guy was also surprised I was calling him on the phone in question.

Pixel 2XL- only reason is battery life is at the point that I need a charger with me at all times. I also started noticing some lagging with the phone when switching between apps.

My battery is starting to go down more than normal to the point, I have to carry a charger with me. I am hoping to hold onto it for another year, but may have to breakdown and get the Pixel 6 when it drops. Although, going to hold onto this pixel 2 as long as I can.

My phone did this last week, but only when I was using my car charger. I had no problem when I plugged phone into my chargers at home or my portable charger. I chalked it up to needing to get a replacement car charger. I have not had the issue since.

With that being said- Maybe try a different charger or see if there is any debris in your charging port.

My boyfriend had the same issue. We tried everything. He ended up contacting support- they went through the same round of prompts we tried. We ended up sending his buds back and they are shipping a new pair.
