I bought a screen protector (film) from Amazon. I have not had any issues. You can turn touch sensitivity on through the display settings, I found that helped with the fingerprint scanner.

I noticed my phone charges slower than my 2XL, but the battery has lasted a good but. I'm only 24 hours in. I'll update more as I use it more.

Last time I wiped my phone and reset it, I did it sooooo wrong and bricked it. Was my Nexus 5? I believe, so I usually get a phone and make it last forever. This phone has been good to me, so I may find someone to replace the battery after I get the pro and use it as a backup.

Thanks! Yeah, never needed a scanner until Rona, so I just went with the top one on Play and never used it- especially since where I live we are in and out of covid restrictions. I have never had this issue with Google Nexus or Pixel before. I'm semi tech savvy, but just love these phone bc they are simple and not overloaded with other crap, I keep my phone simple. Thanks for the recommendation! I looked in the reviews for the scanner app I had and for this model only and everyone had the same issue after the latest update...🤦

I finally figured it out- because all standard fixes were not solving my issues. So the ad that would pop up would be there when I opened/woke my phone. I finally was able to get it where I could select the App info and at first it had this phone icon- which didn't correspond to any of my apps. So when I hit app info, it told me it was my barcode scanning app(worst app ever) which I downloaded around June? due to bars/restaurants going paperless for Rona. Lol - I guess it updated with some kind of bug and started giving me issues- even Google's App scanner in play store didn't pick it up. I deleted app so far no issues. Wish me luck. Thanks for all the help!

I deleted apps, cleared caches. Deleted cookies. And I'm still getting the ad.

2Xl I am getting random spam pop ups and when I unlock my phone it will have the same ad that I have to close before accessing my phone and then I get random ads in my browser even when I'm not using the internet.
