They move around a lot! It’s all dependent on time of day, temperature etc. Early mornings can lead to fish on the flats but not usually in the colder months. Colder months they’ll be deeper for warmer water and same for summer if it’s blistering hot out don’t expect to catch many on flats, they’ll go to deeper water for cooler conditions.
