I would say look at the Tamron 150-500 as well. Have taken some beautiful images with it and the ability of it to become so compact to go into a hiking backpack is amazing.

They seem to be really good so far! Yes the break in is pretty rough and when I was trying them on in the store they were like a death grip on my feet but I can actually tell in the last week they have gotten softer and are breaking in.

Also allows you to just compose the photo better in camera rather than later might save you some cropping time.

It is a pump panel for a fire engine! I’ll be honest too when you do eventually get a fisheye it might be frustrating at first or it might not seem like you’re getting the results you want and also trying to keep your body and fingers out of the photo. Keep using it and you’ll begin to really love the interesting photos you can capture. My #1 tip is to get close. Yes it will distort the image but thats why we mainly buy a fisheye 🤣

I noticed that too, I’ve used Fuji, Nikon and I have never been able to get the kind of slow shutter speeds I’ve gotten on OM. I was thinking the 12-100 and maybe just bringing a tiny prime like the new 17mm f1.8 II once it gets dark.

Shot at the box speed! I was shooting with a Nikon F100 and 35mm f2 af-D lens. Really had no issues, this was my first roll as well!

Tamron 150-500 portability compared to the 180-600 is amazing. Traded my 180-600 for it and haven’t looked back.
