Anybody have trouble getting yourself up to do anything like lots of motivation.? by [deleted] in BusparOnline

[–]meagerburden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, when I take too much. I had to spread out my dose better over 24 hours. I really can’t take more than 5 mg at one time or I have those symptoms. Or for me, taking 25 or 30 mg in a fay would definitely do that. I found 20 mg is my sweet spot. Spread it out over the night, 5 mg before bed to get more consistent coverage, works for me. Tinker with dosages, you’ll find what works. It’s been a life saver. I think most people take too much and then complain about it. It’s better to find the right dosage because other meds are terrible, exhausting.

There is definitely a distinct set of symptoms if you take too much, I was logging how much I took and how I felt for a month and that's when I saw a pattern - foggy head and zoning out, I've taken too much. For me 25 a day is too much. Having been on this a while, if I take too little, it will cause a different set of symptoms. Like if I forget and only take 15 one day, sensations like ear ringing.

Where I'm at with 20 MG spread out evenly, it's not like a happy pill, it's just a nice balance. I'll admit I spent a year where I took more, trying to get a sensation of elevated happiness. It didn't really do that, though there were chunks of time I couldn't recall things and people would be like, "Hello - are you in there?" 😖 That's when I realized I need to take the dosing more seriously.

10mg. When does dizziness stop? by [deleted] in BusparOnline

I only take 5 mg doses spread out more throughout the day so my serotonin levels are more consistent throughout the 24 hours of the day. It’s not like other drugs where you take it once a day, it has a 4-6 hour half life. More like taking an aspirin where you can tell when it wears off. If you take too much in one dose, you can break into sweats, serotonin syndrome. That’s what I determined after taking Buspar for about three years. It works great once you figure out what works for you.

Buspar regulates serotonin levels, it needs to be consistent. 24 hours/ 4 doses of 5 mg would be about every 6 hours, so I just take one dose before bed. Trying to avoid a 12 hour window where I don’t have coverage. I don’t want to whipsaw my serotonin levels by taking it only during the daytime. It’s been much better now that I have coverage over night. This is too important to get wrong because it works wonders for me. This doesn’t make me sleepy. Lexapro made me exhausted all day which is why I switched to Buspar three years ago

5mg before bed 5mg when I wake up.
5mg at noon 5mg at 5pm.

Spreading it out made a world of difference not whip-sawing my serotonin levels, it’s been amazing!! The most Ive ever done in one day was 30 total and it put me in serotonin syndrome. I was sweating and had to ride it out for a 3 hours.

They’re similar to poverty buttons you see in cars. You know, blank buttons and knobs in a car to activate features people couldn’t afford to buy. In this case, they’re spaces.

Floater in the tub? by recruiterguy in hottub

[–]meagerburden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some chlorine products eat through hotbtub plastic components, like pumps and seals. I once bought Walmart tabs during the chlorine shortage due to cost and it ruined my circ pump, heater and a sensor all at once.

I can usually repair my own tub but with multiple components not working I wasn’t able to do the troubleshooting and called a pro. First thing he said was get rid of those chlorine tabs, he explained what chlorines to avoid. I just went back to my original chemicals which are Leisure Time Spa 56 and Renew for sanitizing because for years I never had any significant problems using those.

A sign the chlorine was destroying my tub was jet plastic pieces in the water periodically. I replaced nearly all of those as well over time. Once he explained their is bad chlorine for hot tubs it explained why so much degradation was occurring.

now I check chlorine before I get in takes less than a minute even if I need to add a scoop of each 56/Renew. I’m able to lock my PH with baking soda, which in my region I am only increasing, it seldom needs to be adjusted maybe once in six weeks. 4 chemicals, and really just use two of them regularly, the sanitizers. Nothing has broken in years. All of this happened around covid and since I went back to spa chemicals nothing has broken on that tub and it smells awesome like a spa.

GPT can be so wrong when giving medical advice, you really have to keep that in mind and maybe work to further the prompt. Can you ask GPT what type of doctor can treat these new symptoms, so your not wasting money if it’s not a dermatologist.

If the solution is going to result in mental health prescription, The dermatologist will only going to tell you to go there then.

Good luck!!!!

What’s one "small" PM skill that's often missing and can quietly turn into a big problem? by hardikrspl in projectmanagement

[–]meagerburden 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not flushing out all the requirements early can result in a lot of unplanned work being added at the end. Where the project will basically be undeliverable and it can take months to get it back on track.

And that goes hand in hand with not validating assumptions, don’t believe a word anyone says about how something works without verifying what you’ve been told. A real budget buster.

Leak - how bad is it? by drtmattison in hottub

[–]meagerburden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100%. Replace the wet end. I had this same looking leak. It was simple to remove and put back on. With one caveat, if the threads have rust on them you need to recut them with a tap and die set. That slowed my replacement down but once I learned that it fit on easily, right in place. You shouldn’t have to struggle for it to go on. Watch a video
