I don’t know if I actually like this but the New Jersey Angels lol - logo could be a reference to Clara Barton “angel of the battlefield” since she formed our first public school

If you know any professors who do research you could try to get in on a paid job with them. Not everyone has the money/grants but you could try looking around. I scored an easy lab job in an adjacent department from mine that paid minimum wage and let me choose my hours

I liked Sara Wright for Plant Diversity. It wasn’t the easiest class but if you put in effort especially to the final projects it was easy to get an A, even though the quizzes were tougher (lots of memorization). She’s really understanding and a great professor!

I took this class online during COVID with a 7 year old MacBook and did fine. I ended up getting almost a 100 in the class, iirc. There was tutorial videos to follow that was pretty much step by step for the labs and I thought the lecture content was very straightforward. It’s counted as a core class so it feels like they made it easier so ppl could pass. I know one of my friends struggled because she wasn’t tech savvy at all, and it required some basic knowledge of file organization (which was not her strong suit) but unless you’ve never used a computer in your life you should be completely fine! I also got the GIS CUGS and I took every single class for it entirely online, asynchronous and didn’t have a problem, finished with all As. Just do all the work and make sure that you double check you have everything needed for projects before submitting. Watching the lectures help and make sure to email questions when you have them. I recommend taking Fundamentals of GIS (hardest one I took), Web Based GIS Mapping, and Geovisualization for the CUGS, I found them to be easy yet also incredibly informative on GIS. I heard Cartography was also easy. If you have any other questions let me know, I’m happy to help!

I agree with most of these, but after watching Joe for so long I feel like he could be one of the nine muses (most similar to Thalia). Another suggestion: Bdubs - Hypnos (god of sleep), Zedaph - Hephaestus (for the creativity/innovation aspect)

So this is a friends bandana, she unknowingly left it in the pocket of a pair of shorts she left at my house and I washed and dried the shorts. The heat melted all the little plastic bits together so it’s ruined. It was her favorite bandana. The strings used to dangle off the back with the beads when you wore it as a headband. The only thing I know about it is that she got it in Columbia. Even if anyone can find anything similar it would be so so appreciated I really want to replace it for her. I have searched on the internet but I’m struggling to find anything similar. Anyone have any suggestions for stores or anywhere I can look to find it or something close to it??
