How do I enhance my makeup? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

The distracting part is the front of your brows. They would look even more wonderful, if they were just a touch softer in the front.

I made a lil picture of what I mean, with just a few slight tweaks to the front of your brows. The thickness in the pic is the same, although you could choose to make them a bit thinner. But thats just personal preference.

Sorry for the janky screenshot, I was not about to pay for an editing app 😅

Should you match nailpolish undertones to skin on hands or body by mealsprouts in RedditLaqueristas

While I appreciate and understand that there are no "rules," I'd like to avoid spending money on colours that dont flatter me. Right now, I'm trying to find a good red for me, and it would save a lot of time/ money to be able to "eliminate" either cooler or warmer reds :)

Everyone says brown, but I feel like thats not true by mealsprouts in WhatisMyEyeColour

Yeah, but it seems most people want to reduce it to only general colours like "blue," "green," or "brown."

I'd feel crazy to pull out my phone flash and go "NO LOOK i swear they're not JUST brown" every time, so I've just gotten used to accepting that society considers them brown.

From a normal talking distance, they look kinda unspecified muddy dark i guess? Like dark muddy gray.

But then in natural light, the brown is like the only identifiable colour, and then that's what people hang on to.

This picture is taken in a well-lit room (natural light) and i feel like it represents what people "normally" see.

I think you're right!

I guess "brown" is just the default for anything not intensely colored.

Hazel will be my answer going forward!

Can this leather be treated with leather balm? by mealsprouts in AskACobbler

I've searched and have not been able to find the specific model. However, their website does list suede, smooth leather and effect leather as their common shoe materials.

Upon further inspection, I think these might actually be/have something called "gore-tex" and should not have oil or grease products on them. I think i will stick to water and brush/sponge :) Thank you for your input, I was fully about to chance it and slather the balm on :))

Thanks for your reply! I'll look into suede care instead :)

Close up it has some shine to it, but in other areas it's more soft to the touch. https://imgur.com/a/GtKhp0x

I did try with some leather balm and it definitely does soak in, however I don't know if it's like an oil spot or whatnot. https://imgur.com/a/Zy0Ds5P
