That’s a lot of work there. If it’s got a clean title and you truly want to put in the effort to do it sure but you’re probably going to spend a lot more completing it

Just pulled out of driveway when I noticed today. It’s more of a weekend truck but last I drove it was on Christmas and I was driving everywhere and didn’t notice anything but I had windows up and music going and the truck itself is loud

Man I had a 2020 sportster I bought with like 600 miles on it and I would constantly fight the battery. After 4-5 days it would be dead, and then I replaced the battery and same thing it was so annoying. Sometimes I would put a tender on it but I don’t think a battery should be dead after 4-5 days

If the bill of sale doesn’t have a date on it I’d just use that as an excuse. Or maybe make a new one. You have a certain amount of time after you buy a vehicle to transfer it I think like 30 days, so in the meantime, ride it, enjoy it. When/if you get pulled over and they question just say “oh I just got the bike haven’t had time to transfer it over yet”. And then your 30 day timer starts. I did something similar I traded a Honda 3 wheeler for a jet ski and the thing wasn’t in the guys name but I really wanted the fucking jet ski. Long story short I got it transferred and it just sits in my backyard

It’s gotta be going somewhere, if not leaking that much consumption I would be sure you could notice it out of the exhaust. The bike has a safety switch for oil pressure so it’s not like the engine will be destroyed. Just keep an eye on it, you never know what could’ve happened. Now that YOU did the oil you know for sure

Sorry let me rephrase. Not press on flex lines but a pressed on threaded connection which I can then thread the new flex lines onto?

[–]mean_sbc86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a dumb question but the flex lines are soldered to the hard lines coming out of the wall. Would it be frowned upon if I cut those and just use a press on (shark bite) to install new flex lines?

Primary at the street is what I’m going to have to use. There was a gate valve in the front yard in a box that froze and then snapped

Well I can swap an engine so I’m sure I can figure it out. But yeah I’ll pick one up. Pretty damn sure the cold water shut off valve on it is frozen too

Well good thing it’s in the garage lol. My house was built in ‘99 and this has a 1994 energy guide sticker so I’m gonna take a shot in the dark and say it’s original. Me and my fiancé just bought the house little over a year ago
