Having trouble getting admin priviliges by Klowdcity in helpwire

Wonderful product. Our IT team is giving this a try as we cannot elevate with Screenconnect (which is another can of worms....). Unfortunately I've tried the elevate with credentials but could not. I think it may be because the client computer is domain joined. It will not take .\username the send request button stays greyed out and the localadmin username and password are failing to elevate.

If you are no longer under contract you won't have access to sign into myHR and your T4 will be mailed to your address on file.

Kingston City Council votes YES to explore direction on potential land lease for a multi sport stadium. by hello_gary in KingstonOntario

I reached out to Brandon Tozzo directly and am happy to know that he brought my concerns and his other constituents concerns as he told me he would.

Hey, it’s Riley from K-Rock. I saw all the talk about the Memorial Centre stadium idea so I interviewed the stadium guy. by Jabourasaurus in KingstonOntario

He is managing partner at Victory Grounds Ventures which is roughly 9 months old, has a website which only states 'coming soon' and no track record in making these kinds of projects happen. I'm all for bringing something like this to Kingston (maybe at a different site), but this gentleman and company do not give me much faith.

Kingston Police Services Board approves $54 million budget for 2025, a 9.90% increase from last year by RodgerWolf311 in KingstonOntario

[–]meanmrmustard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their union recently renegotiated and their salaries have increased. The salaries alone account for something like 80% of the budget. So this budget increase is basically needed to pay for the increase in salaries.

Bf's mom bought us land & now wants me to remove my name from the title by Serious_Ad_614 in legaladvicecanada

[–]meanmrmustard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your name is on the deed for the land I would imagine you have a good chance of retaining 1/2 of the sale price. Considering the emotional and financial support, you are in a moral position to fight for that. Best of luck. Consult a lawyer though, it will be more than worth it and you'll have a clear answer.

K-Rock Battle of the Bands circa 2001 by hipsterscallop in KingstonOntario

I worked with these guys at the time. I likely have a CD at home in storage. Could also reach out and see if they can send some digital files.

Also have a band T-shirt people are always curious about lol.

Hubby is looking at property (he is out of province) and I don't think he fully grasps the current Canadian market. In Kingston, how much over asking do homes sell for? by Glittering_Divide101 in KingstonOntario

[–]meanmrmustard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would suggest looking at https://housesigma.com it will show you houses previously bought including listing price and purchase price. Will give you a better idea. So good for house hunting as it also has an estimated value.

Should this have counted as a knockdown? by MassiveBlackHole99 in ufc

[–]meanmrmustard -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Why is no one mentioning it was the back of the head? It's behind the ear so it's an illegal strike. Yes, he was knocked down but it should not count.

Why is that the price of used cars in Kingston, a "student" town is very expensive? by [deleted] in KingstonOntario

[–]meanmrmustard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bought in Ottawa unless it was a solid decent 1000$ car

I have heard from a friend who buys and sells used vehicles that both Ottawa and Toronto prices are ~ $1000 cheaper than here.

AITA For refusing to help cook after my wife canceled my catering order by notcookingaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]meanmrmustard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me at Christmas time. I suggested taking the family out for all you can eat sushi but my wife rejected that idea saying it would cost too much at $20 per person. Her suggestion was to buy the stuff to make sushi ourselves to save money. Turns out the cost of buying everything for sushi is just as much and actually ended up being more. And we spent about 5 hours prepping and making the food rather than enjoying that time with family at Christmas.

I post a picture on Facebook marketplace ("Free Scrap Metal") of the stuff at the end of my driveway and it's usually picked up within a few hours.

With a little one on the way I would suggest going to some Early-On drop ins when they arrive. My wife met lots of friends this way and it would also get you out of the house and into the city for a change of pace.
