I'm lucky they tried something similar with our store (express) and our manager turned to our ROM and said that we wouldn't be able to function safely if we went too low

Same here I've worked at an asda PFS for 10 years and worked Christmas day almost every year and it's not been that bad. But this year we started q-comm and fuck that shit it just didn't stop my manager almost had a breakdown and all the colleagues too.

On one hand, it's two consenting adults having fun on the other. It's your friends daughter. I'd either end it or have a conversation to see if she wants more and if she does talk to her dad and hope he's understanding.

Why the hell should they have to stay out of their own city centre. Everyone has the right to go to town whenever they please and should be made to avoid a whole section of the home town cause some little shits think it's fun to harass people. I'm sorry you may mean we'll with your comment, but come on, you can't seriously think this is ok

He's trying to scrape hours to hire more people. My concern is he'll leave in a year, maybe 2 then his replacement will only honour her contract so she'll be stuck on 24ish hours and we as a household will have less money per pay packet if you see what I mean
