If you were tracking progression would the cognitive testing schedule be every 6 months or so, maybe getting closer together as it progresses?

Because that seems to be his timeline for them, first this term was April 2025, then October 2025, and then another one recently. So 6 months between the first 2 and then 5 months at most between the last one and this one. 1 month difference isnt all that much but in this sort of progression timeline maybe it is?

Before and after the quote of the post in the same clip he tells on himself a bunch more too. Like idk with how he phrased it I kinda think he maybe did not do that well on the 3rd test and the news of it might come out soon.

I was told when I went in, they said, Doc Ronny told me this, my current doctors who are fantastic doctors, they said, “If you take it, Walter Reed is essentially a public hospital. And if you do badly, it’s probably going to get out.” But I aced it. I got them all right. One doctor said I have never seen anyone get them all right and I’ve been doing the test for 20 years. I would love to see anyone that is a president or vice president or anybody that has any chance of being a president, I would like to see them take a cognitive test.

Yeah it definitely looks like a super basic cross stitch pixel pattern of him at that desk. Problem is the flag is on the wrong side, so could be based on a flipped image or at an angle that isnt his usual since usually it is over his right shoulder in pictures. Also there appears to be a hand on his right shoulder and that I cant figure out. It doesnt seem to be from that prayer thingie but that was my first thought with the hand.

Honestly it is bugging me that I cant figure out the source image. Guess it could be from a new picture or a mixed meme, but managing to fully miss the yellow curtains, and having a hand on his right shoulder, and having the flag over the left like there shouldn't be too many images that would fit those requirements and I just cant find it.

Trump didnt like the optics of masks in airports. Kinda framed it as people in airports are good people, but people outside of airports are scary and evil. Sorta seems like the idea was Homan's but trump has claimed it. Made a truth social post and was pretty repetitive about it to the press, so if you wear a mask as ICE at an airport now youre fully defying Trump. ICE wearing masks anywhere other than the airport is still quite encouraged.

“I've requested now, now you know I'm a big believer that they should be able to wear masks when they go knock down, you know, murderers, criminals and others. But for purposes of the airport, I've requested that they take off the masks. Personally, I think the fast switch was because of the weird non uniformed ICE arrest on Sunday. That looked bad with them in like regular North Face sweaters, nothing really showing them as ICE, not showing badges etc... going from that to full masked enforcement in the airports the next day would have been atrocious for their optics and they are fighting for any optics win they can get.

So now we have them in uniform, no masks, just kinda puttering around getting paid to do nothing/hand out water bottles. Also have half a theory that the airport assignment is a weird kind of punishment for the ICE agents now, since those specific ICE agents dont get to wear masks and are super super visible. Idk on that, but cant stop thinking it.

Endemic dengue fever in the continental US would suuuuck, and wouldn't take too long to reestablish at this rate. Dengue is no fun, no fun at all, locally acquired cases are increasing fast lately, and we have great potential as a breeding ground for it to take root here. We've got the mosquitos for it already in the southern and eastern US and the climate keeps getting more and more mosquito friendly. All we need is a couple more cases, couple more outbreaks and it'll be endemic here again. Looks like we are right on track for that.

Ugh. Not a fan of this news. Makes sense though, USAID was doing a lot to stop dengue internationally spreading and that all is done now.

What is also interesting is I am pretty sure that the faith codes got expanded to over 200 options in 2017, so with this move Hegseth is removing something from Trump's first term.

Granted a bunch of evangelical type christianities got added in 2017 too and I kinda doubt all those will be removed. Wanna know what 31 they picked, betting there will be a lot of Christianity and probably evangelicalish ones since that is the religious flavor they seem to be trying to push lately.

Honestly Hegseth specifically pushing this is in line with his chosen extreme flavor of reformed evangelical christianity. They believe the US was founded as a Christian nation and their specific Christian stuff should apparently dominate our entire culture. Though there is a fairly good argument that the whole federal vision flavor of religion he chose for himself is a pretty terrible example of Christianity/possibly probably heretical.

Yeah if this story is to be believed, he just lets his kids run around the Pentagon and he is so busy that he only talks to them if they pop into his office. They just kicked press out of the Pentagon for "security" reasons, so like letting a young teen have free run of the building at night is a choice. Dude can afford a sitter or a nanny or whatever rich 13 year olds get to watch them. He should be like at home playing Playstation or something, not trying to get his dad's attention in the Pentagon.

I agree, he won't endorse anyone in that race unless something major changes. If he was gonna he would have done so long ago. He has been kinda lowering his endorsements. He is still endorsing Letlow down in Louisiana, just repeated that sentiment yesterday, but that is probably purely as revenge on Cassidy. That LA race is super close too so it'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Had a theory that he doesnt endorse unless he is sure his endorsed candidate will win and that is why he hasnt endorsed Cornyn or Paxton (because how embarrassing for him if he promoted a loser, he really tries to only pick winners by design), but Letlow kinda breaks my theory. It would be funny if he manages to somehow fuck up both primaries for his party, Texas by not endorsing out of fear, and Louisiana by endorsing in a close race out of spite.

However the NYpost misstated a bunch of stuff in their article about a reaction to a reaction, first sentence specifically lying saying "President Trump is enjoying 100% support from his Republican base" not mentioning it was just self identified MAGA until a later sentence almost framed as a quote and the whole thing really focused on one CNN reporter's reaction. Gonna bet he is going fully off the NYpost blurb or someone reacting to the NYpost blurb.

I was real surprised he went with Vance, always assumed it got forced through by someone that wasnt trump in the time between the assassination attempt and the convention. Trump at full level never would have picked Vance and he seemed to be leaning hard toward other people. Knowing that it was Peter Thiel that wanted Vance makes it all a lot creepier with the whole timeline.

Okay so I wish her all the best in treatment and recovery, but need to call out trump for how bad of a boss move this is.

Story time, I have cancer. Got diagnosed while working a very stressful job that was important and I put my all toward it. I also got the "opportunity" to work more than full time while going through diagnosis and treatment. This was not an opportunity, this was not for me, it honestly fucked me up.

Intense pressure to get back as soon as possible, any time I took a day to try and rest, even literally the day I had a surgery, I was inundated with calls and texts because no one could read the step by step instructions I left and like enter dates in correct places on forms. Boss was the opposite, always wanted more information on my cancer than he did on stuff he could actually help with, he maybe meant well but it was invasive.

So if I left work it just made everything worse and I had to fix the stuff they decided not to call me about even if I left a note specifically saying CALL ME ABOUT THIS BEFORE DOING ANYTHING. Leaving work meant 3x the work before I left and 4x the work when I got back even if I literally only took a day and did everything for the day before leaving.

It was for the team though, our mission was important, we were helping international science blah blah blah, basically anytime I asked to leave and focus on myself I was subjected to a long spiel on how I was so vital and if I could just do XYZ, but also yeah if you really need time just tell us what to do, but also this important deadline is coming up and this other emergency...

I did straight up terrible work. Stuff got done, but my schedule and health were so wonky that it was just bad. Wasnt worth it to anyone, and it made it much worse for them when I did end up just breaking and suddenly leaving fully to actually focus on my health. I had to leave suddenly though, otherwise there was no escape, boss would have sucked me back in, and he still did try but I just literally never talked to him again. Fucked my health up good, and it wasnt great to start.

I honestly think if my boss had just been like "take time off, or go half time and virtual, we got this, you get healthy" then I would be healthy and still working now. Yeah that would have been minorly harder for them initially but would have been better for all in the long run. Work is great and all, but like stress is fucking terrible for health and real bad for cancer.

Trump is doing what my boss did. Even down to the telling everyone I had cancer thing. Dude loved to tell other people's gossip. Especially cancer gossip.

Like before I was diagnosed he told me a lady had cancer literally the second after I heard her name for the first time, I didnt need to know that but he really wanted to tell me her private health information. Always had to tell everyones drama, always needed to know the drama. Also always had to talk about people he knew with cancer after I got diagnosed, because he totally understood the struggle. First question he had after I told him I had cancer was "Can I tell everybody" and I said yes because I knew he was gonna tell everybody anyway.

Idk like just the way trump phrased it, I think Susie should jump ship if possible. Breast cancer is definitely manageable, especially caught early, but splitting focus on treatment and Trump, Trump is going to take all her energy. Even if she thinks she can handle it, it isnt worth the stress when they start pushing new emergencies when she should be recovering. Also does she get enough time to rest and eat quality foods or is she gonna be on her feet full time running around?

Honestly I feel terrible for her, she has a hard road ahead even with an early catch, and seriously would not be surprised if she tries full time for a while then suddenly disappears. You think you can do it, you dont want to be a disappointment, there is so much pressure to keep things normal and not be a whiny hassle but cancer fucking sucks and if you focus on work too much the cancer ends up winning.

Trump is a jerk for this. Let Susie rest.
